I’ve stayed there before and enjoyed it both times.

The wait to have valet parking. There was only one person there and everyone was there checking in. He was the most polite young man, he should have had some help. Same way for breakfast there was only one person cooking and he also had to give out the bacon. I saw others people standing around and no one helped him. He was a very polite cook and was working as hard as he could be was still very pleasant. I know I’ll be back. Hopefully there could be more people helping during peak times. Thank you for my wonderful stay.

The beds are super comfortable, the layout of our 2 queen bed suite, STEAM restaurant and Cloud 9 rooftop bar! The free drinks at “happy hour” the lobby/leisure common areas, Most of the staff was very friendly, with the exception of one person when we were checking out. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to see the river and also be close to many other attractions and restaurants! Just a 30 minute drive to the beach from the hotel. We had a fantastic stay!!

The elevator system was insane…like weirdest system ever….also the elevator for the parking garage went out a couple times. When we first got to our room and were checking the beds, there was a blood stain on the mattress pad. Luckily we brought our own sheets and blankets to use which I recommend everyone does in any hotel! The hotel should get rid of all those mattress pads because they have so many reviews on Yelp about blood or stains on them….they should stick with regular sheets that they can discard or get stains out of easier…nobody wants to sleep on something with someone else’s bloodstain. With that being said, our own sheets that we put on the bed easily solved this problem and didn’t take away from our stay at all.

Clean facilities, pool was wonderful, Location perfect, breakfast outstanding, beds very comfortable, staff was very freindly and informative.

Front entrance driveway was tight, impossible to maneuver with other vehicles there. I had to back up( reverse) all the way down the driveway to get out, being cautious of other vehicles coming in. The back entrance was easier to use. I would suggest that a notification for people with larger vehicles to use the back entrance driveway.

Complimentary breakfast was average. Room quality was high and upgrade to water view was a nice surprise. Location on Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington was top notch with walkable access to nearby concert venue and extensive riverfront boardwalk.

The lack of cleaned tables at breakfast stood out, suggesting lack of sufficient staff to handle the morning rush. Some delays likewise at front desk during stay. Minor wait for valet parking.

Nice riverfront hotel. Perfect for our overnight stay after a concert in town. A little pricey, but it's a great location.

Too bad the roof top bar isn't open past 10 on weeknights when there are concerts in town. Came back to the hotel with another couple after the concert and tried to get to the roof, but it was already closed. Beautiful night. Disappointing. Maybe expand hours during the warmer months? Also, fix the drapes in Room 216 or hang a simpler system. The top drape was broken, couldn't slide it across. No issue as the room faced a brick building, no windows ...until, morning, when workmen appeared on the roof of the building, right outside our window! We finally found a third layer of curtains that we were able to pull across the window. Unacceptable at a hotel that charges as much as yours does.

Great breakfast, room was clean and adequately sized, nice view of the river, easy to get to . Very friendly staff.

Pillows were an issue, no access to roof top after hours for a view, dirty towels in hall when we checked in until we left the next day. While a complimentary drink is nice, one bartender and a very very long line. Nice to have a social bartender but, you have a lot of patrons waiting to be served, need to pick up the pace and bar lacked some basic alcohol.

India in the dining room was awesome. She made sure my father who had Parkinson's Disease was accommodated each day at breakfast. She was kind and caring. She remembered us each day and always greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. India is an exceptional employee and is a valuable asset to the Embassy Suites at Wilmington Riverfront team.

The staff ranged from good to excellent. Except for one that was poor. Availability of basic necessities were accessible and nicely arranged and displayed.

The view from my room was blocked by a four story garage. One of the valet attendees was extremely rude and obnoxious. His idea of his position is a eschewed. The incident was reported to the management staff that agreed and apologized. The manager was understanding and agreeable.

Excellent! Great location, excellent facilities, great value with the best Free breakfast I have ever received and complimentary drinks, and excellent service from sign up at desk to breakfast service to checking out and parking.

Location was on the river next to a marina. The convention center was next door. We had a king river view studio that was comfortable and perfect for our needs. Breakfast was included and the omelettes were made to order . The restaurant had good service and meals. There was a happy hour with two free drinks every evening. The roof top bar had great views and service. Front desk was extremely responsive and quick response for requests. The grounds were great.

Water pressure in the shower. The starbucks coffee shop was closed most of the time. Paid parking in the attached deck. Not all the elevators were working.
