Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Wilmington, NC

The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. I even saw the breakfast attendant washing the walls! The breakfast itself put many restaurants to shame and I am a chef, so I would know! Lol There seems to be strong leadership in place, which results in great attention-to-detail in all the staff. Front desk was kind and attentive to my needs. Also, I lost my cpap machine while at the hotel, but they found it and were able to ship it back to my home 3 hours away. So grateful for the housekeeping staff who found it for me.

Two minor things - the pillows were awful (too soft) but most hotels have those same ones now, and the fact that I could not stay there longer!!

Very nice front desk staff. Good breakfast with lots of options. Good location and close to UNCW. Check out time is noon which worked out great for my needs this trip

The facilities were a bit worn with chips and stains on wood. our room had a large pink stain on the carpet. Our toilet was in need of repair because it didn’t flush very well. unless you held the handle down for a long time. The pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance

Check in was easy. The front desk attendants did an amazing job handling every need that arose on my trip, including me needing to cancel one of the two rooms I booked. Breakfast was delicious... Both mornings. I definitely took advantage of the gym area. The hotel tub/shower has a lot of space for those deep soaks and long hot showers.

Very disappointed that the pool was closed. Especially given that it's July/August. I used the gym but it's lacking in square feet for a workout area. At times you can smell a slight odor in the air but not pungent and not constant. Would have liked a way to seal off all light that comes through the window in the a.m. I am a light sleeper and the light coming through the window at the top didn't allow me to sleep in really.

Location was great; lots of stores around, even in walking distance. Staff was very friendly. Rooms very clean. Will plan to stay again on my next visit to the area.

If I had one thing negative to add it would be the breakfast was lacking. Turkey bacon was cold. Eggs weren’t very good.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Wilmington. Clean, comfortable, staff was awesome, especially Sandy. She was the most helpful and caring receptionist I’ve dealt with. Keep her.

Only thing was that the pools weren’t open but we were at the beach a lot. Also the side door to get in the hotel was not working so had to go in the front, but not a big deal.

Breakfast actually better than most comparable hotels and you don't feel cramped in serving line. I like the area set aside during the day for making hot tea; cocoa; and self serve cookies. Room was clean. Front desk Sandy very helpful and others.

Wish they could fix the pool; it's been closed every time I have been there. Large bug in my room but staff mgr assured me they spray and being on ground floor one could get in.

Some of the staff were really friendly! The location was pretty great too!

Me and a couple other guests were charged twice for the reservations. Instead of $414.96 in my case i was charged 829.82 and it took several days to resolve itself. The pool being closed was a sloght bummer as well.

The location was great. We walked to a nearby Italian restaurant. Not too far from Downtown and the river area. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.

The only thing that concerned me was the shower/tub floor was very slick. I felt I needed to hold the handrail for support while showering.

That they decided to check and clean the water and not inform the guest. I to wait 2 hours to take a shower and didn't leave the hotel until after check out time and the maintenance man had the nerve to come upstairs and questioned why were we still there and the water was brown. How was we supposed to take a shower with dirty water
