Homewood Suites By Hilton West Fargo/Sanford Medical Center

Its clean, convenient and quiet. It offers a continental breakfast but the rooms also have a kitchen so you can make your own food too. I have stayed here a few times and it’s always great. However, this time i noticed the kitchen was missing glasses, the remote to the tv didn’t work nor the disposal. I called and everything was fixed but the glasses? We never got any glasses. Not a big deal but just a slight inconvenience. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay.

We loved the spacious room - for a family traveling with a pet that was huge. We had room to spread out and the kids had room to play. We enjoyed eating in the large common area with other guests in our party. The pet area outside was awesome and it was close to elevators which is extremely helpful!

The swimming pool was small, and the hot tub was pretty dirty. On our last day there were underwear sitting near the hot tub which really made us uncomfortable being with children. Outside of the hotel had a lot of garbage - maybe partly because of being near the interstate and the wind bringing it in? Either way I picked up multiple items and threw them away.

I loved the kitchen with the full fridge! The room layout was spacious, yet cozy. The bathroom had a beautiful shower. I loved the large hot tub and it was a very nice pool. The hotel was bustling, but you couldn’t hear it from inside the room which was amazing for sleep and privacy. The staff was so helpful when I had accidentally locked myself out of my room in the middle of the night.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Location was easy to find and access. Loved the larger size of the room and the kitchen. Breakfast was good and the fruit was fresh.

The pool was hard to find and small. There were 2 tv's in my room and I couldn't figure out how to use them. I went looking for an ice cream snack in the lobby snack area and the selections for just about anything were very limited - that was disappointing

Right from check in we were treated like gold. The check in was fast, efficient, with a warm touch. The room was beautiful. We travel a lot and it was one of the best! All requests were filled immediately. We even had checkins by Text from Greg who made sure everything was perfect. Which it was. Greg even took extra care to immediately meet a request based on medical needs.

We stayed here for 10 nights while attending an event at the Red River Valley Fairground. We switched our reservation to the Homewood Suites at the last minute because the most recent reviews for the property we'd originally booked were less than glowing, and we're glad we did! Our King Studio Suite was large and well-equipped, with kitchenette and a full-size refrigerator with freezer, recently redone bathroom with walk-in shower stall, and clean. As with all the other motels we stayed in on this trip (August 2021), they were short-handed, but the staff was hustling to keep up with everything. This hotel is connected to the Doubletree Inn - walk through one corridor doorway and you're in the Doubletree - and staff was moving back and forth to accommodate the needs, so there were times when the front desk appeared unattended because there was a line at the Doubletree and they were apparently over there helping out, but this did not affect us negatively. Breakfast varied, but there was always a hot breakfast; fresh fruit was not always included (but that might be due to us rising late and only being there for the last hour of breakfast). There were announced "happy hour" services that we didn't use because our event overlapped those times.

Booking.com messed up the reservation. Booked the wrong room. I suggest booking directly thru the property! Avoid screw ups by using a third party... live and learn. The property did have the correct room still available. So they were able to put us in the correct room for the remainder of the stay.

the hottub was not working at hotel was disappointing but was able to walk to sister hotel to use that one. we were given a wheel chair room and none of us where in a wheel chair. the shower area was always had a wet floor. would of preferred a regular shower and leave the other one for someone who needed the accessibility

Clean rooms beds and hallways

The hot tub was not functioning well. Only two jets were functional The lady making breakfast kept grabbing omelets with a hand without disposable food gloves! She had some nasty blue gloves that she wore while pushing the cart, then grabbed omelets while stocking, then wiped the table and went on and on!

Nice spacious living space. Kitchen is full and useful

Pool was mediocre. Allowing us to use doubletree which was like swimming in a lake it was green and nasty. Only other issue was extreme lack of snow removal. We do that for a living and would be embarrassed to have one of our sites like that.
