Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Elyria

I liked the room that we stayed in. It was clean and modern looking. The shower was huge and beautiful! The young lady that greeted us and checked us in at the front desk was very friendly.

The room could have been a little cleaner. The carpet had some dirt on it, and the bathroom mirror was a little dirty. The WORST part of all was the VERY NOISY housekeeping staff in the morning!! I woke up around 10 am to hear VERY LOUD talking and laughing from the housekeeping staff!! This was a horrible ending to an otherwise very nice stay.

This area of Cleveland seems very depressed, and there are many empty strip malls and other signs of blight. However, if you need to stay in the area (we are parents of a kid at Oberlin), this is a *great* hotel among a number of hotels choices that are *really* grubby. Very clean, very safe, very new and modern. I've stayed at Courtyard Marriott hotels while traveling on business for years, and this one was the nicest I've experienced. Do stay here if you must be in this strange part of Ohio!

I appreciated the cleanliness of the whole facility. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

The bar/restaurant area could've been open since the pool was open and it advertised Starbucks Coffee and that was not. My water pressure was not that great. The road to get back there was full of holes but they filled it while we were there. It was easy for me to get to since it is my hometown. The entrance off the Turnpike should be open instead of a locked gate.

Room was beautiful, bed comfortable.

Despite COVID, something could have been offered for breakfast. This was the only hotel we stayed in over a week of travels that did not. A Wyndham hotel provided wrapped bagels, toast and a toaster along with bags that contained cereal, granola bar and water and a frig with small milk cartons. Hilton hotel had a hostess that provided breakfast foods in a safe manner. You hotel offered only coffee and a snack room with some of these items for PURCHASE.

Very easy to get off and on turnpike. Food, gas and shopping very near. A few better options for restaurants or coffee a short drive into the downtown. Room was spacious and attractive. Quiet. There are some abandoned buildings, a Sears, hotel and most of the nearby mall, but as another review states not a worry

Very nice accommodations. Quiet even though close to toll road. Front desk staff very nice and helpful.

The road to get to hotel was rough with very bad ruts in one spot especially. Bathroom floor could have been cleaner.

Comfy beds, room temperature, large bathroom, good parking (especially for uhauls), walking distance to restaurants, right off the highway, receptive staff, good cable.

The pull out couch bed was kinda gross. Lots of crumbs and a blood stain on the mattress. There was good bedding to cover it though so it wasn’t a huge deal! Wifi was kinda spotty.

Clean, updated. Friendly and helpful staff.

The shower leaks all over the floor no matter what you do. They did not salt the parking lot and it was a sheet of ice in the morning.

I like that it’s modern and very clean.

I don’t like the shower set up. You needed to extend the glass panel a little farther. Too much water comes out the end onto the floor and I’ve almost fallen a few times.

Very comfortable bed. Quiet room. Functional layout.

I think the room smelled of cannabis. The towels were somewhat worn. Shower head sprayed out on the bathroom floor.
