Granville Inn

Beautiful building and landscaping! Excellent staff. Clean room. Had fun eating dinner outside on patio. Good options for breakfast.

Would never recommend staying in a “ queen room”- it is quite small and the bathroom was teeny tiny with NO space to put out our toiletries. We ended up putting things on the floor. The bathrooms desperately need shelves, more than one hook, and a non pedestal sink. In general the food was good but don’t bother adding shrimp to a meal. For $12 I received 3 medium size shrimp! $3-4 “per bite”

Cozy room and VERY clean! Bathroom nice and also very clean. Great location right downtown, walkable to restaurants.

Check in staff told me nothing about the property. Apparently the restaurant serves breakfast, but was never told. They have a keurig in the hallway on each floor, unfortunately my Keurig tea tasted like coffee-- yuck! Would be nice if they had a water bottle fill up station. Bed was not very comfortable, I did not sleep well. Windows are painted shut, which is unfortunate bc the room was hot---needed some fresh air!

Welcoming guest services women greeted us and acknowledged our 50th anniversary. We had a lovely room that was so convenient we could use the beautiful staircase to and from the lobby. We enjoyed the Keurig station, the bar area, the tasteful Christmas decorations. The food preparation was outstanding. Kudos to the chef! Wendy, our server could not have been more gracious as she served us at our fireside table. Sunday morning gave us opportunity to enjoy a lovely continental breakfast. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. I would not wanted to spend our 50th wedding anniversary anywhere else. It was just perfect. Thank you, staff of the Granville Inn, for making it so.

The location is very nice, right near the center of the little town of Granville. It's very quiet, beautiful, and picturesque there, and you can walk the entire downtown from the hotel. The hotel is a charming old building with a great bar and in/outside restaurant. Each floor has an area with Keurig coffee makers ready to go.

I could hear the neighbors' conversations pretty clearly.

The breakfast was excellent and complimentary with the room. Very nice! The room was clean and comfortable. The most important thing, for me, was it was within a short walk of where I was going. The Granville Inn is a wonderful old building and very convenient to shops & restaurants.

I can't see what could have been better, except the weather.

would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room. designated parking for those staying at the Inn as opposed to those just coming to eat. put on the breakfast menu that the Granville Special is the O NLY one that is included in the room. it’s very confusing.

This property by far, is not only historic, but Grand! From the city and shops to the quaintness of the Property, it melts the stress and hustle and bustle of everyday life to the point of total relaxation. We completely recommend the Granville Inn and Restaurant and will be booking a trip next year!

Perhaps a a more extensive menu at the restaurant. It seemed a bit limited.

Beautiful historic but updated inn. Close to just about everything in Granville. Handsome bar. Food at restaurant was delicious.

Service at restaurant was spotty. Most likely due to understaffing. However waitress Amy did an excellent job picking up the slack.

we ordered the very large sushi plate. The plating is not good. you have no idea what is what. It was piled on an undersized plate. you could not tell the sashimi from the nigiri because it was so jammed together

Staff was friendly, pleasant and helpful

No short cut access to enter hotel if you have to park in parking lot of white community event building which is on right side as you face the hotel. You have to enter on left side of hotel. The distance is probably 70 yds No place to congregate outside room with access to tv to play board games or visit if dining room is open or wedding is being hosted. No refrigerator or microwave in room.
