Hampton Inn Columbus-South

I am a travel nurse, & the fact that they are willing to accommodate my need to check in around 8am, after I work all night in a local trauma center, & NOT charge for the previous night is a major win! The staff are always friendly & helpful, & are caring. They appreciate the job that us nurses do, & it shows in how welcoming each one of them are. Other hotels are definitely losing out with a lot of potential business from travel nurses due to the fact of charging for a night that isn't needed, only to let you check in 1st thing after working all night! The beds are comfy, it's always clean, & quiet 💕

Really can't complain about anything, except that I don't like turkey sausage, & I wish I could get an omelette for breakfast! And a hot tub would be a plus!

Needed to use elevator to get to room but it was quite a distance from the front desk and handicap parking. I tried to park closer to door leading to elevator as staff suggested but the lot was full so had to use handicap slot near front door. This may seem minor to some but when walking is painful than it becomes an issue. A General question from me is why are all the HH toilets so low to the ground? A lot of people need a higher one or bars to assist in getting up from a very short one.

The location was great, conveniently located close to the freeway and food choices. I don't remember the name of the gentleman who checked us in but he was superb. Very friendly and very outgoing, he made our stay enjoyable before we even got to the room. The shower was great and the king size bed was comfortable.

My only gripe are the pillows, they were so soft and wore out it was like sleeping without pillows. Yes we probably could have went and asked for different ones but we were tired and just wanted to sleep.

We usually always use Hampton because it seem so clean and properly cared for. We love Hampton

This last time we went we pulled back the covers and the flat sheet on the bed looked as though someone had body oil on and set on the bed. There was an oily butt mark. There was trash that had not been picked up under the bed. Whoever cleaned the room this time did not rinse out the cleaner from the shower because I slipped when I took one. This is the first time any of these things have occurred and we will still return. It just seemed as though they were slacking a bit this time. Thank you

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Really good breakfast to start the day.

Overall, my experience was great. Beds were tremendous! The room was clean and comfortable and well supplied. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and that breakfast in the morning is a very good breakfast. A couple of small things which really did not detract from my stay were the hallways and pool... For some reason, the carpet in the hallways seemed to have debris in quite a few places. Some looked like pieces of paper and others looked like maybe mud from boots. The pool area was clean, plenty of towels and chairs but the water seemed a bit "foggy". Again, those 2 things were things that I noticed but in no way did they make my stay any less comfortable. I would happily register there again!

Loved the we had every kind of restaurant and store near us, Pool was perfect and love the breakfast 🙌🏻

We stayed 5 days and not even 1 day they went to clean our room and give clean towels. Glad we brought our own extra towels. And the room didn't had no trash bag we had to buy and put ours. Other than that everything else was Perfect 🤞🏻🙌🏻

There is plenty of places to go to around the hotel, the pool was decent and warm. The staff was very friendly and offered my daughter and I fresh cookies. Also, the room was clean and comfy.

The traffic is definitely a little crazy being around the interstate and all the shopping places to go. The hallways had an odd smell but I was fine as long as the room didn’t smell bad. Hot tub was out of service.

the third floor smelled weird and our room never got cleaned, even after asking. the breakfast also wasn’t very good.

We were able to secure a room last minute after finding the hotel we had actually reserved a room with to be unacceptable. It was such a pleasure to find a large, clean and comfortable room on such short notice. We were not there long enough to avail ourselves of their amenities but we did find them very helpful and friendly.
