Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was hot and tasty Pool warm and water looked clean, Except the major insects in pool(dead but...) Two days they were in pool and not much done with them.
Everything was nice pretty clean, staff seemed attentive to keeping clean. So only thing was pool bad.

I was very impressed with how the hotel (and area) was handling Covid, so felt protected and safe. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff friendly and what a good breakfast. I was, in fact, surprised to still get the full hot breakfast - but it is no longer self-service. You choose what you want, then are served by the employee stationed there. I watched several folks get huffy about this, not sure why as the breakfast was excellent. Overall, a great experience.
As a light sleeper, I asked for a top floor room. That I got, but didn't realize till I'd spread out that I'd been put on the front of the hotel, facing a very noisy road. I 'd had a long, difficult drive to get to Lancaster and just didn't have the energy to go down and ask to move, especially as I'd already messed up a sanitized room. I'm not lowering my review because of this, but if you're a light sleeper, ask for a room in the back as that road is noisy all night long.

I was quite surpirsed to find the room had a faint odor of cirgarette smoke. Not over whelming, but it was unusual. I have been smoke free for 3 years, so I am very sensitive to the odor. I suggest the filter on the HVAC may need to be changed. This is not a "dislike" comment. We did tell the desk clerk about it as we checked out. I meant this as information.

The breakfast was great. We had three people and each of us ate something different. I believe this better than other motels because the virus has encouraged most hotels to hand out a fixed breakfast in a bag.
My granddaughter was hoping the swimming pool could be open but we certainly understand the virus played a major role in that.

There is a renovation to the outside of the main lobby. The old part that has been removed is piled up on the ground not in the dumpster but next to it¿

My kids were disappointed that the pool was closed, that was the only thing I could complain about.
