Holiday Inn Express Tiffin, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was very clean. The beds were a little hard for my taste but the linens are nice and they give you a choice of pillows. Towels were thick, bathroom was modern and very clean, full size toiletry in the shower. Very nice staff! Breakfast was better than most. Good assortment but not enough seating. Yogurt, fruit, cereal, eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, 3 kinds of juice, chocolate milk, pancakes, hot cinnamon rolls, muffins, bagels, breads. Everything in the room was clean and looked cared for. Would stay there again if we get back to this way again

Location was way off the beaten path. Traveling through on our way to Niagara Falls and everything near Sandusky was crazy expensive last minute so we decided to travel a ways south. There was a wedding the night we were there so the halls got loud when they got back, but overall, not too noisy.

Friendly Staff, very clean and great location. They were very accommodating for our large group.

The older cleaning lady by the food area was a bit moody and asked us to move kind of rudely. We understand that she needed to clean but she sort of kicked us out. She could of asked us to move in the area more politely.

I really did enjoyed the freshly updated room that I stayed in and the snow was well taken care of my work shoes were not wet when I got into my car.

Pool access would be nice to have permissions on our actual room number key this is sometimes confusing and hard to keep ahold of multiple keys or to go get another key from the front desk in the lobby of the hotel.

the bed was extremely comfortable and clean

person with same name stayed and credit cards were mixed up, charging wrong card. it was fixed, but that was not an acceptable mistake. when I checked in, I told them that was not a familiar credit card. they called me later in the day to tell me about the mix up. also their coffee was not as good as at other hotels, which is a big deal for me as I work late.

Clean, good location, good breakfast

Upon checking in, the greeter/ receptionist was unpleasant and told us they were all booked up without checking. We then decided to look online and there was rooms available. When we let her know she was a bit nasty

I always prefer to pay for my stays with cash. When I got to the hotel, I let them know that I would be paying cash when they asked if the card on file was the one I wished to use upon checking out. I was then informed that they do not accept cash as payment at this location. I feel that this is something that should be communicated when making the reservation. I know others who prefer paying in cash when staying in hotels and this could have been a total disaster. I mean what if there was an issue with my card and had no other options?

The pool was closed for an evening, but they couldn’t help it. They had to wait for the pool company to fix a safety issue.

Staff was super helpful and extremely nice. Rooms were clean, and comfortable. Location is in great location, away from noise but close ( walkable) to food and transportation. Breakfast had lots to choose from and was fresh and delicious.

Breakfast was very good. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Housekeeping could have better.

Housekeeping didn’t bring fresh towels or empty trash. We were there for 3 nights. I understand not making up room but fresh towels and empty trash should have been done.

It is great that they offer breakfast. I saw where breakfast was located. Did not participate in breakfast. Met my family for breakfast instead. Maybe next time I visit, will try their breakfast. Thank you

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. We had a quiet room as we were late arrivals. I have no complaints on our visit.
