Courtyard by Marriott Norman

Very clean. Modern furniture. Comfortable and convenient. Price is too high for a visit to such a small town where only the room and the breakfast area are used and no other facilities such as pool, etc. This is a hotel for business.

The price was very high over $300 for one night, just to sleep safely in town. A hotel of this kind in a little town should not exceed $180. I've traveled all over within the US and overseas and the price does not match the value.

Location

Paid for room with balcony, received room with patio. I was told a patio and balcony were the same thing...Hmmm....room was clean and looked nice, but air conditioner was so loud we had to turn it off to sleep. Also bathroom fan was unbearably loud. I've never stayed in such a noisy room and I work for an airline and travel everywhere.

It was comfortable, the bathtub was great, and the bed was wonderful. The staff was helpful and nice. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel, except with the mishap in the elevator. I will probably go there again if I need to stay in Norman.

The walls were thin so I could hear the neighbors more than I would have liked. Also, someone through up in the elevator Saturday night, and it still smelled and looked horrible by Monday morning. Also, the breakfast was expensive for not much food (it was decent quality eggs, potatoes, and bacon, though).

The property and people were very nice. Had a pool with a courtyard so the kids could play while adults had a place to sit and visit. The staff was very nice.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable unless you like firm board like mattresses. The sheets look like they have been there for a while as the fitted sheet wouldn’t stay on the mattress.

The Courtyard is as expected - good, clean, and reliable. I never have problems with Courtyard, and the noise level was down.

The only thing is someone threw up in the one available elevator, and it wasn't fully cleaned for a couple of days at least. That isn't necessarily the employee's fault, but I would hope they would have a janitorial service that could take care of it more fully next time.

had a pool and the food in the bistro was good. plus it had easy access from the highway

TV didn’t work- shower had hair on the wall and a stain on the carpet by the chair. Also alarm clock couldn’t be set. Couldn’t cover the window with a non see through drape

I have previously stayed at courtyard and there was a coffee bar made available. Coffee was available in the room but the coffee bar was a nice convenience.

People at the front desk are professional but they don’t understand simple things , when telling them that my husband was paying for reservation they didn’t ask for id or card for him They just ask for my information I told Him look at this information he is that one that is paying

The friendliness of the staff.

No housekeeping during my stay. I had a lot of trash from eating deliveries. I heard what could have only been a mouse in it this morning.

Quiet, convenient, safe, and very clean. Would definitely stay again and will stay with Marriott on future trips.
