Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Shawnee I-40, an IHG Hotel

Large clean room with ice cold ac, Couch & table, Large clean bathroom with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, & body wash, Comfortable bed & bedding, Blackout shade, Large tv, Bright lighting, Plenty of outlets for charging devices, Ice cold mini fridge, Very good breakfast selection, Easy check in & out, Convenient location right next to I-40, Walmart, a gas station, a shopping mall, & numerous restaurants all within walking distance.

Brought our Swimsuits but didnt need them because the Hot tub was out of order & the pool had dirty murky water.

Staff was helpful, property was nice, room was comfortable and clean.

Hot tub was closed No phone in room,if we needed something, my son had to walk down to front desk each time Air conditioner didn't reach area where sofa bed is, temp was okay but stuffy Couldn't connect my tablet to hotel wifi so couldn't get online Just as a suggestion, the only safety bar in the shower is at the very back which isn't helpful to someone who needs to hold on while showering, I wasn't able to take a shower for fear of falling

We love the location, it is right along our route to our children and grands! Staff is friendly… we have become good friends with Rita, who is always serving the yummy breakfasts and keeping everything spotless!! She’s always a day brightener!! Beds are very comfortable and rooms spacious and cozy! We’ll be back before long!!!

Couldn’t find anything we didn’t like!

Didn't stay long enough for breakfast. Everything else was perfect! The room was spacious and had excellent amenities for even an extended stay.

I didn't like that I had to call and confirm my reservation before leaving. Good thing I did, because if I hadn't, they wouldn't have easily found it. Booking.com keeps putting letters before my last name that don't belong and makes it extremely difficult for the hotel to find the reservation. It's NOT the hotels' fault. This is coming from Booking.com and I will go to through the hotels directly in the future to make a reservation.

Room was spacious and clean everything worked correctly etc. The staff was excellent and very responsive to our needs and even noticed a side door not closing fully and remedied it for our safety.

There was a fly strip on the air conditioner as you exited the staircase area to your floor and the floors needed vacuuming in the hallways but our room was fine. The price was higher than I expected by 50 bucks but all in all fair market price as that quality in the area was the same price.

clean. loved the soaps and shampoos. breakfast was decent.

slamming doors woke me up at like 5:30 am. none of the neighbors knew how to quietly close the door. at our next hotel-a comfort inn and suites- it was impossible to slam doors. they automatically closed softly. here though the doors closed super loud.

The manager on duty was so helpful with the kids by grabbing us a high chair, tissues for the baby and also pushing the stroller so we could carry our breakfast to the table. The free breakfast was very good and convenient.

the property was beautiful! check in was super easy and the staff was more than welcoming. the room was clean and had everything i needed. my favorite part was the breakfast!!!! i swear the breakfast at this hotel was better than some restaurants.

Convenient location, clean and well maintained.

We all understand Covid has changed the way business is conducted, but this address still advertises included breakfast. A muffin, sugary cereal, yogurt with sugar.... These are not acceptable breakfast items for diabetics, or anyone adhering to a healthy lifestyle. There was an orange, but even that is not the best fruit option for diabetics. Covid isn't going away, so it would be proactive of your hotel chain to reconsider breakfast offerings, or stop advertising breakfast as an enticement.

Very convenient to the I40 for our overnight stay while traveling. Many food/drink options within walking distance. Very comfortable and spacious room at a good price.

All was good, there was nothing wrong at all.
