Hampton Inn & Suites Stroud

I had booked this hotel for one night as a stopover on my drive home. Then the intense winter storm hit the following day (a few days before Christmas) and I had to reserve a second night last minute. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and I was able to stay in the same room that extra night. Over that additional 24 hours, I witnessed the front desk helping countless people with last-minute bookings like mine – weary drivers and people staying safe off the icy roads. I watched them mop the floor over and over again in the lobby, as it was getting covered in wet and salty footprints.. Never once did they appear frustrated or lack friendliness and a listening ear for everyone who was venting about their delayed holiday travels. I was very impressed, and top of that the room was spacious and lovely, and the lobby area was impeccably clean and an inviting place to bring my computer down and work for awhile. I would stay here again without question. Thank you for everything!

There was nothing in my experience that could've been better. I enjoyed everything and felt welcomed and cared for by the staff.

The breakfast was good. And the fitness center was great but it was out of water.

My receipt from the hotel said I was charged 125 however the bill at my bank says 148 with no explanation as to why I would really like an explanation since it does not say on my receipt. Perhaps someone at the desk is taking money from people's accounts and pocketing it this should be checked out.

This studio king was very spacious and nicely decorated. It had a wet bar, sitting area, large desk that divided the sitting area from the sleeping area. The bathroom was large with a closet and separate toilet area. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast had plenty of choices. This was the nicest hotel we have stayed at in our travels this year.

The facility was located in a good area next to the highway the staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was decent for it hotel breakfast.

Because it has a pool there's a lot of families that have kids swimming that track water all over the hotel and mostly in the elevators that make it very dangerous and dirty looking.

a full breakfast is always good. very comfortable beds. right off the turnpike so location and access was awesome. very close to where our destination was.

the breakfast taste was a little off to me, maybe its just me coming from a different part of the country and my taste buds are used to our cooking. it needs a lounge. LOL

I had to exit the roadway due to extreme weather and when I did there was the Hampton Inn and Suites with a room available and delicious breakfast to boot!

I booked the room for 2 guests but only one set of bathroom necessities for one person was furnished and I had already made several trips back and forth to my car in the storms so I felt it was too late/early morning to venture back down or call for more. It’s nice not to have to request them.

It was spotless. The facilities were very clean as was the room. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. I have stayed at many hotels across the US and Europe and this mid-America gem was among the very best!

There was anything that I disliked!

We stayed here one night as we were passing through. Everything was beautiful - really clean and either new or super well maintained. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of items such as bagels, English muffins, blueberry muffins and fresh fruit that we have not seen on our travels anywhere else, even in more expensive hotels. Thank you for a wonderful night’s stay. Would definitely stay here again.

For a small town, it completely exceeded my expectations.. Super friendly staff!! This town is very friendly also:) Pool was very clean!!! Nice workout room with weights👍I travel alot...oh BTW breakfast was super too:) Thanks Hilton! Always a cut above the rest

Good selection of breakfast foods. The housekeeping staff was excellent and friendly when we needed new towels, etc.
