Tru By Hilton Tahlequah, Ok

Very nice and clean place we really enjoyed our stay. Staff was great and worked hard to keep the place nice. Great breakfast setup and really comfortable place to kick back and enjoy. Pool was great and refreshing to have right outside. Love having a pet friendly place for our Jack Russell to stay with us. Keep up the good work everyone.

After seeing some of the negative reviews. I was a little reluctant to try this place. But realized there are some people you just can't please. I would have to say they are terribly wrong or just completely spoiled and just can't be pleased. I definitely will stay here again. Don't listen to these negative reviews because they are nothing like the great experience we had at TRU.

at check in, the gentleman at the counter told me the the credit card from booking.com was declined. I quickly pulled up my email where it showed both rooms was paid for. The gentleman told me to call Booking.com, I was on hold for 30+ minutes waiting for someone. at this point I go to the counter again and ask to speak with the manager. The manager came to the counter and I explained what was going on and she said when you book 3rd party like with Booking.com the have credit cards they use and lately they have all been getting declined. The manager fixed everything and got us right into our room. I can not express enough that do NOT use Booking.com, call the hotel itself and book that way.

The facility is completely new, it is right next door to various restaurants, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. There is plenty of green space for my dogs. There are snacks down by reception, a pool which was very clean and the perfect temperature, and a gym for working out. Great place!

There was no storage/closet/dresser for clothing. Also, while the bed itself was very comfortable, the bedding was interesting. The mattress pad cover had been placed on top of the fitted sheet as a blanket directly under the comforter. We were too tired to remake the bed correctly so we slept with it that way.

The staff was super friendly. The beds were comfortable. I like the "Welcome, Brandi" on the TV. There is a lounge area outside, which was nice. The pool was open, but it was small, and it got a little crowded. They have a game area and workout room as well. Breakfast is available, but we didn't try it. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again when we float the Illinois River.

We enjoy the set up in the bathroom with the soaps and lotions, there’s always plenty. The beds and pillows are quite comfortable. We enjoy the tasty hot breakfast served in the morning with more than enough options and it was very tasty!

The air conditioner shut off often throughout the night, which is okay, but the room became hotter than comfortable before the unit kicked back on.

This was our first time to stay at a Tru by Hilton. So nice! Comfy beds, super clean, and so many amenities. They have dispensers with (nice) hand soap and lotion near the bathroom sink, and shower has separate shampoo, conditioner, body wash. They aren’t the pumps like Holiday Inn uses. They are soft and you just gently squeeze. The outdoor pool was very nice. There’s an area next to the pool with heated rocks that has an oversized Jenks set to play. Inside there were two foosball tables, large sitting area with tables and tons of games you can play. The workout center is excellent. Even a monitor with workout videos to follow. Treadmill, elliptical, wall straps, exercise balls, exercise mats, free weights… everything you could need. We will definitely put Try by Hilton at the top of our preferred hotels list.

The property is newer and is spotlessly clean. The decor and furniture is very modern and colorful. I loved the comfortable pillows and beds. Nice shower and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good- scrambled eggs with sausage meat, oatmeal, pancakes, an assortment of bread and bagels, juices, coffee, etc. plenty of parking. Close to the Indian casino, within walking distance.

No microwave in the room. No Kleenex provided. The breakfast eating area was loud because there are 3 or 4 TVs going on different channels.

I was very impressed with our room. The lobby was very nice, with games for the kiddos. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay a few more nights.

It wasn't an issue for us, but the bathroom door did drag the floor and was hard to open. But it didn't affect our stay at all. It would be more of a problem for the maintenance dept.

The hotel was clean. The staff was very nice. l room was very nice and spacious.

I checked in after check in time and the bed was not made. I did not like the pet deposit for my service dog There was not a night light in the bathroom And it needed extra heat when I took a shower.

Room was clean and free breakfast was good. I like the toiletries were all there in shower and toilet. Very nicely done.

Room has no bottled water, coffee maker, microwave or safe. No clothes cabinet or wardrobe.
