Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Muskogee, an IHG Hotel

On a table in front of the check in counter were sheets taped to the table informing guests of issues the hotel was having and stating that linens are only changed every three days. I questioned if sheets were changed between guests staying in a room. The answer was yes, but the counter clerk made me feel like it was a stupid question. That should have been made clear in the notification. Never have I seen a table like that in front of a check in counter. I considered staying somewhere else, but the effort at that point was too much so I took a chance on the room. The counter clerks were not very friendly but they were cooperative. The breakfast food staff were quite friendly and helpful. I felt like I was staying in a hotel that had problems.

To be honest, this was our first trip to Muskogee because it was a meeting point for other friends as we had plans to visit an event in Tulsa. We are a motorcycle group and surprised the staff was friendly and receptive to us. The stay was nice and atmosphere was pleasant.

there was no waffle machine to make waffles.. I really don't like pancakes..(smile) the coffee was good!

Friendly staff and always warm water.

Breakfast could have been a little better choices. But acceptable given we was in a ice storm. Didn’t like the fact of not trying to treat the parking lots. And allowing all the construction trucks to park on site took up to much personal parking choices. Had to walk all the way from the back around to the front on ice covered parking lot to enter.

Location was great, plenty of parking, well lighted area.

Apparently, they must have had a water leak on the second floor, because as soon as the elevator opened up, it smelled like mold/mildew. It showed where they were taking care of it. Otherwise, it was a great stay. The staff was absolutely great!!! Will be back.😁

The employee Lindsey was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was above our expectations and the selections were far better than average.

Fire alarm went off early morning on Sunday. It happens, not too upset.

loved the breakfast, fresh coffee at all times, and fresh baked cookies!!

the bed was alittle to soft for me but that’s just my preference.

Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Everything looked to be clean.

Parking was a bit of an issue. Maybe only 20 or so spots in the front of the hotel; the rest were in the back. The room was said to have slept 3, but the chaise lounger was a little short for our son.

absolutely loved the hot tub/spa in the bedroom. so relaxing. good way to end a great Saturday.

I personally think breakfast should stay open till ten.

Location to downtown to find where my husband lived 74 years ago and... we found the building where he lived with his mother at age 4!!!

Location not within walking distance to restaurant. The food selection late at night did not have everything listed on the menu for sale.

easy check in and breakfast was nice

No vent fan in the bathroom, also bath tub its self was falling apart like the surface was flaking off really bad.
