La Quinta by Wyndham Muskogee

Its decently well kept, the executive king room was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and so comfortable. the carpet was immaculate and had no weird textures like other places I’ve stayed. The price for our executive king room was great ($156 after taxes and such). The staff was friendly and helpful, check out is at noon which is absolutely fabulous for getting quality rest on your vacation, unlike a lot of places I’ve stayed that do check out at 10. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices and was still going strong with fresh food still being added at 9/9:30. It was just a great, friendly, pleasant experience. Next time we are in Muskogee that’s where we will be staying!

The staff was extremely helpful, very friendly, and professional. They went out of their way to help me when I had trouble with my blood sugar getting too low.

The curtains had a tendency to be opened up somewhat due to the air conditioner blowing them and the thermostat wouldn't go down as low as I would have liked.

when we got to the second floor you could smell cigarette smoke. I reported it to the front desk. The clerk said she would check into it, but someone was clearly smoking all night. there are signs stated smoke free hotel. the towels in our room where small and ruff almost like pool towels. breakfast was good but there was no water or juice offered. I asked the gentleman was there any water and he pointed out that there was water in the vending machine.

I ate at ihop.

The lighting was bad. The floor lamp socket was hanging loose in the socket. The bathroom ceiling light fell to the floor during my stay and would probably have hit me if I had been in there at the time. Not a big deal but also not one of your better efforts.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. Out stay was on Christmas Day and only one staff member was on duty but she made sure our room was ready and upgraded us to a balcony room for no extra charge. Bed was very comfortable and room had plenty of space.

Breakfast had no hot items but it was Christmas Day and only a few staff members so that was understood. Can't say anything else bad about this hotel.

Perfect place to stop for night while traveling. It is located next to a QT. I filled the gas tank before checking into the hotel. In the morning, the breakfast at La Quinta was great making it perfect to get back on the road.

The elevator was broken. It did not bother me that much it was one flight up an easy staircase.

The staff was very professional and courteous. My only knocks are so minor, they aren't even worth mentioning.

Breakfast kept my review from being a 5 out of 5. Basics like utensils, coffee cups and napkins weren't filled and had to be asked for. Next time, breakfast will be at a local cafe.

The location is one we use a couple of times a year; very good for us. The breakfast was terrible: eggs were hard, the orange juice was so sour we couldn’t drink it, no coffee, and waffles were gummy. Not good.

The breakfast was really good. The staff made sure we had a decent room for sleeping.

When we first got to the hotel there was a bit of a wait, but I understood a new staff member was being trained.
