Quality Inn Gresham

This is a huge hotel. It has what appeared to be a full service restaurant, now used for the free breakfast, which was good . Also a nice bar and lounge which might still be in use. Too bad there! We were there mid week. Lots of space not being utilized.

It is a bit off the beaten path. This was good for continuing our trip farther south but not so good for surrounding restaurants within walking distance. After 400 miles that day, more driving was not an option.

It was a very nice hotel. The lobby had a nice fire going in the fireplace. The breakfast area is the nicest we have ever seen.

We were early to our destination and phoned the hotel to see if we could check in early. The gentleman on the phone said check in is at 4pm, but they could start at 3pm. We arrived at 3:10pm and he gave us grief for showing up before 4pm. This has NEVER happened to us. We have NEVER had a hotel not allow us to check in early. He did check us in, but didn't seem very happy about it.

The air conditioning was lacking, but that may have been the size of the room. TV was a bit small. Plus the channels didn’t seem to line up with the online guide. It was a bit confusing. The breakfast selection was meh. But I wasn’t there for that anyway. I work nights, so breakfast options don’t figure into most of my room options.

It was clean, comfortable, affordable, breakfast was a good selection, and we were close to McMenamins Edgefield for a concert. Staff were also very friendly.

My only complaint is that it would have been more accommodating to have been able to check in 30 minutes early, rather than waiting in the lobby with a group of loud teens who were traveling with their team.

We stayed in the area before because of the location to the airport at a hotel comparable in price but the quality was awful compared to this one. The staff at this Quality Inn were so friendly, and the hotel lobby, rooms and parking lot were so clean and the size of the rooms was wonderful, bigger than most hotels in this price range! There was someone there everyday we were there cleaning the common areas and picking up trash in the parking lot, we was seriously impressed!! I will absolutely stay here again and recommend to others!!!

We were on the 4th floor and it was nice and quiet. The room was clean and we felt comfortable. The easy access elevator to our rooms made it special.

I would have liked it I got a little discount for paying for 2 rooms and in one of the rooms only 1 person was in it instead of the usual 2. I understand that is just how it goes but I was just hoping for some kind of offering. The breakfast was okay. Not much of a breakfast person but the rest of the family enjoyed it

Check in was easy and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was nice (although the pillows were small). Honestly, it's a pretty good place to stay.

The breakfast was pretty measly. It would be worth adding to it. It would be nice to get more directions on where to park and how to find our rooms when checking in.

Comfortable beds and pillows. The front desk staff members were all very friendly and responsive. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Guests in room next door were loud/walls were thin--not sure which. Front desk clerk asked them to reduce volume to moderate success. The lighting in the room was dark (no light in the closet area near the door) and the decor seemed a bit dated and in need of a refresh.

we have stayed at this location since it was built and was a holiday inn. we travel 181 miles from Hermiston, for dr. visits and see family. this is the second time since covid so we expected the hotel to smell clean. it smelled old and musty. the pillows for a king bed were to small. the worst complaint is one of the attractions is being able to have breakfast. there is no reason not to serve breakfast as you can sit down in a restraunt. i paid double for one night as I did for my previous stay of two night.

see above as I put in wrong place...... the front desk people were very friendly, they were the only staff we saw. hope our next visit coming up . things will be back to normal

The location is great, easy to get to OMSI and our family in East Portland. The kids enjoyed the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast selections included healthy choices and waffles! Our rooms were located right next to each other
