Hampton Inn Portland East

The room is clean and breakfast was good. Staff were fantastic. It's a good location if you have your own vehicle, close enough to downtown without having to pay downtown prices or deal with downtown dangers, but still close enough for day trips into the city.

My only complaint, was that I could hear everything tony thing that happened outside my room. It was almost as if there was a literal gap between the door and wall at places. I've stayed here before and don't recall that. Maybe it was just the 1st floor handicap accessible room they game me (their last room). OR Maybe they are doing renovations. Everything else was good.

I did not try the breakfast or the pool/spa but they looked nice. The room was comfortable and the shampoo/conditioner rack in the shower was a fine idea.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was good but I did notice a few stray hairs that were not mine on the floor. the bathroom barn door was an excellent idea and worked well but it need just a touch of maintenance, or repainted.

The price was decent compared to other in area. And enough space and sleeping spots for whole family (6) and able to stay together one room. Alot hotels will only allow 4 total in one room which isn't cost effective nor comfortable when I'm in one room with 2 kids and my husband is in another with 2 other ones.

Everything the 🥞 was awesome the rooms were so clean and the beds the staffs were so friendly they had tables that a whole family can seat to eat there breakfast as a family my kids told me I finally found a hotel they liked and they felt safe

Well I can't say anything bad about the hotel I will definitely come back

Everything was wonderful, from checking in... Needing an additional blanket - quickly accommodated, well stocked hotel room, comfortable, great breakfast.

Nothing crazy... All about location but we were aware when booking. Right on a main road so you can hear traffic all night. And then... It is Portland and we entered the elevator post some 420 friendly people and it was a little overwhelming.

It was a close hotel to the tourists attractions we wanted to visit, comfortable and nice rooms. 5 of us stayed there and we had a good night.

It took more than 30 minutes to do the check in because the system was down and the guy who was in the front desk could not get us a key to enter our room... he was doing like 10000 phone calls

The beautiful blonde front desk girl was great ! I enjoyed my few spare minutes I spent with her( although I have 4 kids so a few spare minutes with out them? that’s great in its self ) Breakfast was met with the most exquisite soul, she was running around getting everyone all the fixings, you needed it she had it ( accept the butter, don’t ask her for the butter ) she was so delightful and made sure we didn’t go hungry! 4 kids we are ALWAYS hungry! Thank you for accommodating all of us, we so appreciate you!

Unfortunately the pool was closed.

great breakfast considering it’s free bacon sausage options egg options waffle maker indoor pool and hot tub were amazing during a cold raining night

neighbors one night stayed up yelling and fighting till around 4am not the property fault

Clean rooms with great amenities.

Pool closed at 10pm and the purpose of our visit to Portland was for regional volleyball tournament that did not finish up in time to utilize the pool.

Now, I wouldn't say the location was great because you did have to drive 15mins to get anywhere. But I also chose this location not checking beforehand what was close to it. This was definitely a location for people of business i.e wanted to be near the airport for example. The area around it was very quiet. We never woke up for from anything. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast they offered looked good but we didn't take part in it.

This is really small but the room's tv remote had a adhesive residue on the back that looked to be hard to remove. Honestly some acetone probably would have helped. I feel it should have been replaced. The bed was very hard but I think that goes for every mid tier hotel. The pillows weren't supportive. I usually bring my own so that one is on me, but still.
