Inn at Wecoma

We loved the friendly staff! The kids liked the fresh baked cookies in the evening. The location was great to be able to travel around town and was about a 10 min walk from the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

The pet friendly rooms are carpeted and the one we stayed in smelled a little. The staff was good about coming in on request to spray the carpet and we bought an air freshener for the room which helped. The room got warm because the window did not open very far as it was on the ground floor. When we stay next time, we will ask for a room on the back of the Inn where there is a slider door we can open to help cool the room.

Front desk staff seemed happy to help. Very informed of the area and had good recommendations for eating and recreation. The location was just two blocks from beach access. The room was freshly cleaned upon check in. Snacks and extras available at the front desk was great! Pool was clean and ample towels were available to dry off. We stayed due to the family accommodations. The extra room with twin beds was perfect for our girls!

Continental breakfast was not the best. Soggy eggs and sausage. Lack of options for side items. Likely a personal preference, but the bedding sheets were very lightweight. The fitted sheet came off the queen bed at night.

Wecoma Inn was nice. The room was spacious, the shower worked well. The parking in front was a little small, but there were lots of available spots in the back. We especially liked that there were snacks/ice cream available to buy at the check-in desk. I would like to give recognition to the young lady checking us in. Darci was efficient, friendly, helpful, and able to multitask! She was helping a customer on the phone, while checking us in, and answering others questions. And being pleasant to all while doing it!

The main entrance to the building and the check-in desk didn't seem to be well marked. We pulled into the front parking lot, but didn't see any signs indicating where the office was.

I loved the check-in, the cookies, and the multitude of amenities we could have taken part in if we had the time. I loved the towels, they were thick; and the shower was a real shower with pressure, not a usual hotel one that sighs then trickles. The shampoo and conditioner felt quality. However, there were free DVD's for the kids, amazing packages for the float hunts, romantic packages, none of which we had time for, but they were all affordable. We are definitely returning to take advantage of a package.

It's me, so once again, the coffee. We stayed at a "Motel 6" ish type place the night before, and the coffee makers were the same in both places, with over a $100.00 price difference. I honestly don't get it. You're in Oregon, people. You're right next to Washington and Starbucks. Failing that, get Keurig's! Another peeve, which is not only indicative of Wecoma, I kind of understand why check in can be as late as 3, but check outs at 10-11? I do understand the rooms have to be cleaned, it just irks me sometimes. But so does arriving at a hotel so late I can't enjoy it.

Beautiful, clean , remodeled, nicely decorated facility. Huge rooms and very comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Fireplace in the lobby and a sauna- super bonus. Like the washer/dryer available for guests near the lobby ( though did not use them). Hot water/tea and coffee available all day. Walking distance to the beach and amazing Corrine Hansen Gardens (spring time delight with all colorful rododendrons

Eggs for breakfast were overcooked both mornings (browned the second morning, eek). In buffet style, it may be hard to keep scrambled eggs just perfect, but I was at breakfast at 7 am (start time), so would expect them to not be rubbery yet due to extended heat exposure in a chaffing dish. Bagels/cream cheese/jam were fine. Would be nice to have some unsweetened oatmeal and plain yogurt, as well as continental breakfast pastry selection instead of biscuits/gravy (not a fan) at least one morning of two.

We loved everything. From the kindness of the staff, the shower, the breakfast, the comfy beds, to the parking. Definitely coming back next time. Also everything was equidistant from the property. So if we wanted to go to the beach it was only 5 minutes away but if we wanted to go the other way to breakfast, it was also only a 5 minute drive.

Nothing. The room got hot once you returned back from an outing but that is an easy fix as you can just leave a window cracked while you’re gone or you can turn the fan on next to the window to blow cool air in.

Great location, friendly staff available 24/7.. nice balcony view, comfy bed and well laid out room. Pool and spa were great, but the sauna never got very hot. Decent breakfast and cookies in the evening was a nice touch. There's a thai and mexican restaurant within walking distance.

The fireplace timer was so loud it sounded like a ticking time bomb.. ruined the experience. That was grossly overlooked and should be replaced. The sauna never got very hot was a bit disappointing.. assume they keep temp low for liability.

The room is outstanding 👏 . We very much enjoyed the home feeling to the unit, and the view is spectacular 😀. The bed in the main room is so soft like a cloud . I, being me, unmade the bed to find out what mattress it was formy ownhome. 🤣 the kids absolutely lived the fireplace and view 😍. 7/10 on this place . I would say I would definitely come back if it was a kid free stay.

The only things that bug me are the fact that our room had based board heaters and long thick drapes hanging directly onto them, and me being a parent knows that's a massive fire Hazzard. They should know, considering there are burn holes in the bottom of the curtain. Secondly, the dust is horrible. It's like no one's paid attention to the dust, 😔 the last complaint is the fact the pool closes for the kids at 7pm and then from 7pm to 12am is adults but I had to deal with a mental breakdown from my 6 year old because she had to get out at 7, the pool was one of the main reasons we got a reservation here. To find out their is a 7pm cut off and kids under 14 can't use the hottube was inconvenient. Other than this, minor issues are a very nice place to stay.

Location and breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were great except there was a used condom on the floor next to the bed that was nearest the wall. Housekeeping obviously missed it. We saw it, unfortunately, so I feel that if housekeeping had been more thorough with cleaning they would have properly disposed of it. The check in staff was super friendly and helpful. The check out staff was not friendly at all.

Not finding a used condom in my otherwise very nice clean lovely room. I also rented a separate room for my parents, they were very happy with their room.

It was great for the price. And over all nice stay. Couldn't hear much of the ppl around me. The breakfast was nice for being free. Location was ok as it was almost dead center for where I was going and that was nice. In all very nice place to be and will be on my short list for places to go back too.

AC could have been on as it was hot, and needed to be a bit colder. But I'm fat so heat isn't my friend. Should have thought about maybe putting in a dehumidifier as the room was a bit moist in the air
