The Mill Casino Hotel

Nice clean rooms, good location. Large dogs barking off and on all day and all night. They should put dogs all on the same floor and let the people that don't bring their animals sleep in peace. Staff didn't seem to care much when they were told about the large barking dogs.

Large animals barking anytime you walk down the hall or trying to sleep. Staff was very friendly at check-in. While checking out the gal could have cared less about helping or being told about the large animals that barked all night.

The staff was great. Based on photos of the room I had booked a king size overlooking the water. However somewhere the reservation was changed to a ‘patio room’ which had no view of anything, and didn’t appear as an option even on the hotel website. The check in staff fixed it and all was right. The gaming is somewhat limited. I would more old time slots.

The casino could have more of the slot machines that don’t have all of the animals, gods and goddesses, etc. The older 3 line with 27 line matches with Bars and fruit, etc. I talked to several people looking for those that were not $1 to play.

All meals were delicious and were served in a very congenial and elegant way by the Waitresses and Hostesses. Very nice seating by the Bay, especially in the morning. Prices were higher than expected, (as they are everywhere these days!) We appreciated having a room on the 1st floor to accommodate my husband's limited walking ability.

We missed having a small coffee pot in our room to make our own coffee, while still in our pajamas, instead of going to the lobby for it...and fumbling with two cups while getting back into room. However, it is a nice service you provide for others.

Location was good. Left without breakfast.

The fact that you tied up our money for 4 days. You charged us $209.82 the night we got there, which included the $25 for incidentals and when checking out the next day we were charged again for the final cost of $184.82. We were unable to use the $209.82 until the following Tuesday after checking out Friday morning. That is 5 days where we couldn’t use our money. We stayed at another hotel the next night and they charged us, including for incidentals, when we checked in but the next day it dropped off and the charge was only for the actual stay we had. No reason to hold onto someone’s money that long.

Loved the fact that it was located in the middle of town between the 2 centers. Parking was good if you get there are food choices 2047 within the hotel. They have a wonderful swimming pool and long boardwalk for strolls.

Make sure that if you check in late that you remember sometimes parking can be hard close to the hotel but they will accommodate you. Remember that in the main casino smoking is allowed but there is a small non-smoking gambling room.

Liked view. LIked free coffee in lobby and infused water. Liked the woman who worked in gift store. she is nice and informative. Helpful also. Liked couch in room. Salad from deli was good. Deli worker very helpful. Price good. LIke smokeless room.

No bfast provided, no coffee in room, no room service, no mask mandate. We purchased omlette. First day was good. Next day omlette not good. Undercooked has browns. over cooked eggs, light on desk did not work. Some casino workers were not helpful when learning how to use equipment, cards, etc. Explanations quick, no follow up as to whether we were OK. We ended up losing money rewards due to poor instruction. I suggest a more clearly written directions. Have a teacher look them over to see if they make sense. Woman who works in gift store is amazing: nice, friendly, informative, helpful. Going down to lobby in morning to get coffee...did not like. More vegetarian options needed.

We had great king suite on the first floor situated at far end of hallway to the hotel lobby-adjacvent to entrance to the pool. Suite was well stocked-extremely comfortable-we could have stayerd-very comfortably, for a much longer stay.

Overwhelming smell of cigarettes every time had to walk through the casino to access eating spot. Was glad to have been wearing a Kn 95 mask. Good thing we were not there for the casino; and even better, discovered could walk from our suite to the eatery without having to walk through the hotel-casino. Convenitent door adjacent to suite to outside walk way along the bay side of hotel property!

Lots of food options, very helpful staff and updated, comfortable rooms. Even though my view was of the parking lot, I did not get any noise pollution. It's the nicest hotel in Coos Bay. Free coffee was also a nice touch,

Since access to the restaurants are through the casino, I wish smoking was not allowed in the Casino. I'm not a smoker and strongly dislike the smell. The food is very nice but I couldn't eat in the restaurants because of the smoke smell. I always got my food to go.

The hotel was great. The room was a nice size, the bathroom was wonderful, very clean and comfortable.

Cigarette smoke in the attached casino was disgusting. We've stayed at other casino hotels in Oregon and this one was by far the worst for smoke. There was a small smoke-free gaming room, but it was very small and the slot machine options were limited. The smokeless dining options were limited.

Great food every time I sat down for a meal (breakfast and dinner) staff was very polite and helpful and the facility was very clean. The staff always made sure I had everything needed and wanted, plenty of seating with window seats to over look the river.

Leaving, the facility made me feel at home. I fail to be able to think of one thing I didn't like, other than leaving as I was having a great time. From the restaurant, casino and the whole staff was great.
