Best Western Salbasgeon Inn & Suites

Everything else was wonderful, exceptionally clean & Jan is AMAZING!!!

The night lady Janice is very RUDE and tried to charge me 3 different times for my room that was ALREADY paid for. Told me I could go stay at a different hotel (again, room already paid for), when I told her I wouldn't be doing that as the hotel already charged my credit card, she threatened to call the police while I was trying to find a number to call & speak to a manager so I could go to bed after a 9 hour drive. Janice proceeded to throw my room keys at me & said, here I just don't want to deal with you anymore... WOW Janice, very professional...

We got a cozy king suite, very comfortable king bed with clean white linens. Pretty spacious and the layout was roomy, separating the bed from the living area. We got one of the spa tub suites and the tub was super big, enough room for 2, side by side. Room came with mini fridge and coffee pot, but wish their were teabags available in the room also. Loving area was warm and sweet with a fire place And full pull out bed.

The shower In this room was very tiny, not enough enough room to bend over to wash your toes. Our room was facing the back road but there was a nice river to view just beyond that. There was a nice continental breakfast with waffles and muffins and lots to choose from but we did have to wait a while for fresh eggs and bacon but they were very accommodating and even offered to go boxes to take to go if we didn't want to dine in.

Easy to locate. Very nice curb appeal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. When I asked if we could have a room on the second floor with a view, they upgraded us to a king bed room on second floor with a river view. This Inn had a very nice indoor pool. They were fully booked for the night and we never heard any noise from anyone other rooms. Free breakfast in morning to start our day. We would absolutely stay there again.

Very nice, clean facility. Very good Breakfast, courteous staff. Both arriving and departing counter staff were pleasant but neither could figure how to print me a payment receipt. They said they would email me a receipt but that didn't happen either. Otherwise our stay was excellent. We would stay there again but I won't leave the office until I get a receipt.

I enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Ants all over the bathroom counter. When I informed the office about it she said there wasn’t anything they could do and offered me a can of Raid to spay in my room. I was traveling with my 83 year old mother. Really? Spray my room with Raid? Unacceptable! I went across the street and bought ant traps with my own money and put them on the bathroom counter which seemed to help but we still couldn’t put our toothbrush, etc on the counter.

It's a nice place. Verry comfortable. A great place to hang your hat from a long hard days work. The front desk was very responsive and positive.

Everything was good. But for an old man, an elevator would have been a nice addition. Hauling up my luggage while dealing with a bum knee is taxing to say the least.

Convenient easy to find hotel, although it was a bit noisy in terms of traffic. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Handy and very clean laundry room that our room happened to be next door to. Pleasant staff…one desk clerk even made three kinds of cookies that you could take back to your room in the evening.

Mediocre breakfast, although the breakfast room was clean and comfortable.

It was well located. They were remodelling the facilities so we ate breakfast at a cafe across the street with hotel vouchers. There were no vegetarian options there for my wife included in the voucher choices. We had to buy several sides of fruit. This should have been included.

Facility construction, we paid full hotel price.

Ashley was fabulous upon check in. We were stranded in the area with a broken car and she thought our initially booked room might not be the best match for the oxygen equipment we had. She changed the room to one better suited for a handicap customer on O2 to maneuver within. It was a smart move that made a world of difference in our stay turning out to be so enjoyable. She and/or one of the front desk folks checked daily with us to see if everything was alright or if we needed anything. The whole crew was great. Head of Housekeeping D’lon was johnny on the spot whenever we needed anything and she helped organize our load out and departure with our heavy handicap equipment. She gave us the verbal tour of the whole town and brought us up to date on current activities. She had her crew keeping an eye on us the whole time and that made us feel secure. As supervisors, Ashley and D’lon run their crews well and their whole staff is so wonderful, competent and happy. They make a great team for the Best Western and should be recognized as perhaps the strongest reason that the hotel runs so smoothly and sends residents back on the road so happy. It’s the people that really determine the kind of stay customers have and whether they’ll return. I know we certainly will. Great job to everyone involved. You made Reedsport very memorable to us.

I liked pretty much everything. I wished it was beachfront, loved the spa tub in the room, prices were very affordable, the room was clean and a comfortable feel, they have a pool and hot tub, complimentary breakfast, staff were very nice!

only thing I didn’t like was the bed was to firm.
