Holiday Inn Express Roseburg, an IHG Hotel

fantastic Location, outdoor hot tub overlooking river. clean rooms, good selection of breakfast items. The eggs were good. Coffee was good. Area was clean.

The rooms were relatively small with 2 queen beds. The room where bedroom was not well lit. There was one bedside lamp and one lamp near the window. it was hard to see the microwave numbers. The bathroom was especially dark. The bulbs over the sink were low wattage, I could barely see in the bathroom. No light in or near the bathtub/ Shower. Otherwise the room was clean, attractive, TV remote was difficult to figure out! Good TV brand.

Husband and I stayed here on our way to the coast. Beautiful property with a covered outdoor spa. Great hot breakfast Saturday morning with omelets, sausage, cinnamon rolls, pancake machine, as well as drinks and cold stuff. Even had almond milk. Very comfortable bed. Modern feel.

Pool was on the smaller side if you are looking to make a big splash. I did think there would be a walking path along the river, but it was just a well maintained patio area that didn't go anywhere. Still beautiful though.

Pool, hot tub, and exercise room were great. Breakfast options were good. Breakfast staff wert above and beyond. Very helpful. Check in/out simple. Liked 24 hour Ice water, coffee, and fruit. Liked microwave and mini fridge in room. Nice view of the river.

Bedside light didn't work. Front desk said to check if it was plugged in. It was. Bulbs were unscrewed. One broke. Front desk gave me a replacement. Still didn't work on one side-button broken. No working bathroom fan.

The location is great: near the freeway and city center. All the rooms look out at the river. The staff was great: I thought I was going to have to bring my dog and they were fine with it. Then I found a kennel for the dog and changed the reservation at the Holiday Inn accordingly without any problem.

I think the price is somewhat higher than it ought to be as compared with other similar motels. Even so, the location and the river view makes the high price easier to digest. It is tricky to find the driveway into the motel parking lot because there are several driveways next to each other. I've been here several times and it's still confusing in the dark. Maybe the driveway could be better marked.

We stayed one night half way to our destination. We did not expect this hotel to be so great. We had our Corgi with us. It was quiet, great facilities…pool, spa, lawn area with views of the river 100 ft away, picnic area, bar b cue, exercise room….and the best breakfast that was included. It had hot sausage, eggs, rolls, bread, etc. Of course it had great coffee. The room was medium sized, but very comfortable. Staff was as friendly as they could be. I recommend this highly.

It was near the freeway, but you could not hear anything once in the hotel or our room.

My husband loved your breakfast choices! Lots of choices which we appreciated. The bed, sheets and pillows were impressive. I meant to travel with my own pillow however I forgot to pack it. Your pillows were fantastic. I traveled extensively for my career so I am fussy about my mattress, sheets and pillows. Exceeded my expectations! Plus the location was very convenient and having a room that overlooked beautiful gardens and the river was just so relaxing and lovely.

At first I thought the price was a little high for your brand, however it was worth it.

Location on Umpqua River is excellent with comfy very clean room and great views especially from balcony, river side and mountain view. Nicely landscaped grounds. Safe and secure feeling. Saw herons, various ducks, River otters and a bald eagle pass by during our overnight stay. Bring binoculars.

Liked everything though there is a bit of noise from I-5 at one end and bridge for local road as well as occasional train going by, but truthfully bridge and train noise were rather enjoyable and minor buzz from I-5 very tolerable. Both muted with window/ door closed.

I traveled for the first time with my service dog and was delighted with this room. It had a door out to the lawn area and back so I could easily take him out when I needed to. Plus the sitting there was so nice to have a cocktail and dinner by the river. What a surprise!

The room was a little bit dated and the price was a bit high, but I hadn't traveled for a while so maybe the price was the norm.

Nice breakfast , comfortable beds , plenty of USB charging ports , complementary newspapers in breakfast area , and easy access to our room .

Difficult to get onto street , too much traffic in that area going both ways . Breakfast would have been more comfortable if the morning manager had not stood at desk , watching (with what seemed like a scowl) everyone eat breakfast .

It was a real breakfast, really good great. Your chief got a bunch of tail wags from our pups as well. The room was super clean. the view of the river was so relaxing, The lawn was a perfect dark green. Best of all was the fresh air from a slight breeze on the wonderful few days we got to spend with you.

The front door was hard from a mechanical standpoint to open. The drain in the bathroom was slow. I reported this to the front desk at checkout. Not life threatening but sort of annoying.
