Safari Inn Motel

We didn't have breakfast there, but we had just came back from a Florida vacation. We had a much better room at the Safari In than we had in Florida. We stayed at a Rodeway Inn there and the room was small, inconvenient, and had no coffee maker. What we had at the Safari Inn was what I had expected in Florida. I was so disappointed. The Safari Inn was clean, comfortable, welcoming and had no questions about my husband's service dog. Although Kansas is a registered service dog in uniform. The Rodeway Inn charged extra for him.

I can't think of anything right now. There is always room for improvement nothing comes to mind.

Clean and no smoke or deodorizer smell. The choice for carpet - outstanding! It’s a multicolored brown with thick padding to reduce noice and vibration especially for downstairs guests. In room coffee and the coffee maker was clean. Easy walk to a couple of food places. Facility’s paint is kept fresh. Refrigerator nice to have.

Bathroom sink and tile could use some scrubbing and updating. Recommend a local handyman to come in for some professional light repair. Coffee maker not near an accessible outlet. Recommend it placed on the bathroom sink next to the wall outlet there.

The hotel staff was absolutely amazing! The guy up front went out of his way to work with us on extending. He checked in with us often, asking if we needed anything and if the room was to our liking! Rooms were clean and smelled great! Everything we needed was there and its so close to so many restaurants. 7 eleven is right across the street to which is very convenient!

It was a wonderful, restful night's sleep. The husband liked it better in the second night when he was relaxed more...

There were tiny odd things.. not bleached white molding I the shower, but clean.... Also little funny spots coffee splashed in a while almost as if the furniture had been elsewhere before our stay...

I was impressed with the cleanliness. There was very little dust or dirt, the mirrors and headboards were clean. Even the mattress and box had preventive bug covers. Very well maintained.

The carpet was dirty but that is to be expected in a hotel. The light cover in the bathroom was dated but it gave the room a bit of a grandma's house vibe. I can't really say i didn't like it.

The staff is very nice and we love the upgrades they have done, the bed was nice and comfy but the pillows were flat, and yes we will be staying there again

The TV needs to be higher to be seen easier in bed and the water pressure needs to be stronger

The manager was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I stayed during the week so didn’t see or interact with any other staff. The beds were comfortable, the carpet was new and clean.

It is an older motel so some of it could be upgraded, grounds were kept nice looking though.

LIKE ALWAYS I WAS HEADED TO ROSEBURG VA FOR MY MRI AN NEEDED A PLACE TO STAY SO I HEADED TO SAFARI FOR A ROOM AN LIKE ALL THE TIME BEFORE THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE AN CLEAN AND THE PEOPLE WERE VERY NICE GOT TO MY ROOM STARTED TO SET IN AN MY TV WOULD NOT WORK-THE OWNER-WENT TO ANOTHER ROOM AN GOT THE TV FOR MY ROOM ALL WITH IN 10 MINUTES BOY I SURE LIKE THIS PLACE

We traveled here to go the the Wildlife Safari. This is so close to the Safari. They are so nice at the property, with Covid-19 they weren't able to clean the rooms but we would but our trash outside and they picked it up right away. Getting anything you needed was not a probably you only have to ask. The rooms are very clean (a little dated but did not take away from our overall fun) We stayed there 4 nights. There are a lot of places to eat with in walking distance and the neighborhood is nice. We would definitely stay there again.

every thing -room =people and the easy way to get to things like food stores and other services it is also close to roseburg but still some what out of town
