Riverfront Inn Roseburg

Super nice front desk girl at check-in. Offered us a bottle of wine when she found out it was our 20th anniversary. Room had a very pretty view of the river behind the hotel. Breakfast was basic, but the pre-order tags were a very nice touch. All you had to do was go down to the lobby in the morning and get it at the time you selected! I would recommend this hotel.

Arrived at night and couldn't find parking. Come morning time, looking down from our balcony, we could see parking places that we didn't know were available because of the dark. Please freshen up the paint on those spots back there!

It was amazing! We had a corner room that was larger than the others but I looked into one of them that was being cleaned on our way out and it looked nice too. The room had a beautiful view of the river and even a little balcony with chairs so you could sit out there and enjoy the view! There was also a little garden area down by the river with a few picnic tables. It was all just really lovely. The room was decorated nicely and the breakfast options were great too. The shampoo and soap smelled great, which is always nice. Everything seemed nice and clean too.

The building was a little old, which is fine but the toilet stuck. It was even hard for the kids to flush. But not a deal breaker, we would definitely stay there again.

We came to Roseburg on urgent family business. The Manager, Amanda, was extremely sympathetic and helped us when check-in issues beyond our control came up. We extended our stay from 1 to 4 nights and this made all the difference in giving us the time we needed to complete what we came to do. Cassie was also very kind and efficiently helped rebooking at the front desk. Overall we had a great experience. A friend recommended the Inn and it did not disappoint. The breakfasts were of good quality and generous, the beds were really comfortable, the wifi worked great and the shower had plenty of hot water. We could really unwind each evening with a movie on the tv after very tiring days. We will definitely stay there again if in Roseburg.

We were very satisfied with almost everything. Nice and convenient. We appreciated some suggestions for dinner and had a nice meal at the McMennamins Roseberg Station. Also we enjoyed a short walk on the river front in the morning before departing as well as having breakfast available.

Well our shower didn't work, it was late and we just did withour rather than move. One of the the milks for breakfast was very spoiled and sour. Staff maybe needs to be a little more careful with handling milk that gets accidently left out and throw it out. And call maintenance when cleaning. Overall it was a pleasant overnight stop.

The grounds of this inn include a small river park and the room had a balcony overlooking it. This sets the place apart for a typical midlevel highway hotel. The room was very spacious clean and freshly appointed. The bath products were high quality and the towels were generous in size and quantity. The front desk staff was welcoming, highly professional and helpful. Full continental breakfast was made up on a tray to take to the room and enjoy on the patio.

On the Booking.com website when I made the reservations showed a check-in time of 2:00. After making the reservation, I received an email indicating check-in time was 3:00 and if I wanted to check-in at 2:00, there would be a $25 fee. Either change the Booking.com website or waive the additional charge.

The woman checking us in and setting up breakfast is an excellent staff member. The setting by the river, decor, and price are a plus. A continental breakfast was available and ready at the designated time on a tray with out name on it. It contained what we ordered the night before.

Our dog-friendly room was smaller and did not have a tub even though I requested one. Still, our stay was great and I would choose to go to Riverfront Inn again.

NICE people, very helpful. Room was small but clean and the A/C was great and the beds were very comfy. Their shaded park is really well tended and overlooks the river right next to a picturesque bridge. Wonderful! Becky's dining suggestions were spot on and we had a wonderful meal at El Dorado. I was skeptical when I realized that our room was at the back stairs on ground level, which put us VERY close to parking lot cars, stair traffic and a garbage dumpster slash employee break area, but i enjoyed the park and river so much I ended up just feeling kind of bad that employees had to be so close to the garbage can! All in all, enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again.

Didn't get a room with a river view but next time i'll know to ask for a second or third level room at back with a balcony.

We were given a bag of breakfast food as the front desk attendant said they were running low on trays. However, we came in early to get our breakfast and when I went back to check out, she was setting all sorts of trays out and told me that this is what breakfast is usually set on. It's a small detail, and I'm not high maintenance, but it could put some guests off. Either get more trays in case you have a full house, or provide trays first come, first serve.
