Motel 6 Carlisle, PA - Cumberland Valley

Motel 6 Carlisle in Pennsylvania was absolutely wonderful. Over the top in cleanliness , hospitality and service! Katrina could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Super comfy check in...with a pop corn bag welcoming.... AWESOME Our room was spotless and the rest of the property was sanitized and cleaned. The laundry room was perfect...the coffee area in the morning...shinning with super cute decoration that make you feel home...and the coffee was hot and fresh... If we have the opportunity to travel again to this place we will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends/family.

That I only spend 1 night

I traveled with my husband and Labrador retriever. I had requested a ground level room due to my husband's inability to traverse steps easily. We had a nice room on the ground floor with parking right outside our door. It was nice to have a clean accommodating motel that allowed pets.

The room was a bit small, but fine for our stay.

Was very impressed...I have stayed at many Motel 6.. Over 30 years...the last few years were bad...but this Location was fabulous....gives me hope that maybe one day the other locations will improve.... The Team in Carlisle we're absolutely great....Motel 6 needs more staff like these people....Thank you for a great experience...you get a 10 plus from me!

The general manager at front desk was very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. After I told her how nice the room was it was evident she took great pride in the upkeep and cleanliness of the property, almost as if it was her own home and I was a guest in her house. They'd done a lot of renovations recently and I tried to reassure her no one would notice the corner brush lines by the painting contractor weren't perfectly straight.

This is a personal pet peeve of mine, I don't like the current trend of bright white LED bulbs which have a cool blueish tint rather than the soft white LED bulbs. I realize the days of soft warm yellowish incandescent lighting are gone, but the ambience in my room would have been better with soft white LED bulbs.

Parking was really easy. The motel is right off of the highway which makes it nice. The rooms were recently renovated so everything was clean and nice.

The renovations could have been a little better as far as paint and details like that but there was a sign that said it was a work in progress so it wasn't a big deal.

Had a personal welcome note in my room. Room was newly renovated. Breakfast was not available but they did offer coffee and orange juice. Gave goody bags with snacks, choice of apple or banana and either yogurt or yogurt drink.

The TV was a no name brand and was difficult to turn on/off or change channels. No hairdryer or iron in room. The pillows were too soft.

I've stayed there in the past when it was owned by American Suites. I was impressed with the improvements made to the room. I also really enjoy the spacious parking. I traveled with my trailer as I attended the Carlisle car show.

Wish there were an alarm clock in the room. I used my phone alarm, but would have been nice to have a clock/radio in the room as well.

Every thing was grate . only one thing would like 4 pillows lol . was good stay and nice people . was my 3rd time staying in a hotel and my lady friend was her first time ever i am 61 she is 57

Excellent place to stay. Has plenty of parking for semi's. Price was great. Enjoyed staying here, felt safe. Catrina the manager was very nice to talk with and did all she could to make sure our stay was good. Thank you.

Laundry room wasn't available but if that's all I can say that was bad then this place is great.

Loved absolutely everything....they should go to all the other motel 6 n clean them up!! They are amazing....it is the best motel 6 I have ever stayed at...
