Comfort Suites Camp Hill-Harrisburg West

The hotel was very nice. The room was very nice and spacious. There was plenty of parking space. Most of the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The breakfast sucked. The coffee sucked. The carpet in the elevators were nasty, like they haven't been shampooed in forever. There was no pool to enjoy. There was no where to sit outside and enjoy the weather except one bench seat that was in the afternoon sun. The staff would not allow me to take any chairs outside. The pillows in the room sucked. They were way too soft. If there are going to be 6 pillows to a bed then have a variety of firmness. The thermostats sucked. I've never used a thermostat that worked like those. You could not select just the AC or just the heat. So, if you try to warm up the room the heat comes on. That wastes energy. That affects your bottom line. There were no safes in the room to store valuables. The staff said there was not a safe in the hotel at all.

Our beautiful was so comfortable and located in the best area! Sheetz gas station, Starbucks, and other restaurants are situated across the street from the hotel. It is also 25 minutes from Hershey Park. The rooms are large. The pillow top mattress are so soft and medium firm. The flat screen tv is about 65" and is mounted so you can pull out and move it from left or right. The carpet is thick. The bathroom is modern. We are obsessed with the shower! The free breakfast was really good. The kitchen attendant Gina is just a sweet lady! She was so helpful and friendly! She brought a smile to my face when I was bummed out about the pork sausage because we don't eat pork. She made turkey bacon for my family and I. I am glad the hotel accommodate for their guests. This may be our first time, but this won't be our last! Thank you for a great experience!

Management in the first office by the front desk doesn't know how to greet people.

Fabulous stay! Extremely modern, sparkling clean, friendly and helpful staff, huge room with 2 queen beds equipped with all the necesities (TV, mini-fridge, microwave, little coffee maker, AC/heater, hair dryer, toiletries). Very generously sized breakfast with many options (hot: eggs w/bacon or sausage; waffle maker; yoghurt, cereal, toast, bananas, coffee/juice). Didn't use it, but there's a large modern fitness room as well. Location of hotel is great as its less than 10 mins from downtown Harrisburg. Would 100% stay here again /recommend it to others!

The only thing would be that the bathtub floor is very slippery. It seems like there's hard water in this area and the soap really sticks to the bathtub floor. Putting some strips down or providing a plastic/rubber bathmat would be recommended.

Breakfast was very good from what I did have. I didn't feel like they had a wide variety to choose from. They had sausage and eggs. You could make your own pancakes and waffles in the waffle maker. Other than that, it was toast, english muffins, and a couple muffins to choose through. Cereal for the kids, yogurt and bananas.

This is not the hotel's fault, but I should have read that dogs could go to this hotel as well. All the dogs were very behaved, but if you have allergies to dog fur, this may not be the place to stay. My son and I sneezed the entire time, itching, and wheezing. My boyfriend also kept getting bit in the room, which I'm assuming it may have been fleas.

Location was near a lot of things such as restaurants & fun recreational activities. It also was not too far from Hershey Park which was perfect for us. Breakfast was good. The room was large with a full size refrigerator & small kitchen. The beds & pillows were really comfortable!

We had to keep asking for fresh towels each day from the front desk & we had a pile of used towels until we gave them to a staff member cleaning other rooms on our floor. They did not replenish toliet paper, tissues or towels daily automatically like at other hotels we have stayed at in the past.

The Hotel is dog friendly. The room was clean, neat and tidy The breakfast food offerings; scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own-waffles, Danish, fresh fruit, juice machine, and plates and utensils, and cold cereal selection was conveniently located and the placement was well thought through. Everything was hot and fresh.

The coffee machine was not working properly. It dispensed pure VERY strong coffee that would make your eyebrows curl. When brought to the attention of a staff member, we were told that the machine was recently serviced and that it was working properly. Upon arrival I was told that I had a third floor room after I had requested a ground floor room because of our two dogs. Alisia found us a ground floor room.

The hotel is clean and located in a good spot. Staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was good, just be sure to get there before 9am!

Only thing they should improve is the privacy curtains. The light blocking curtains do not close. They are more of a decor item. The even numbered rooms facing the Sheetz 24 HOUR gas station desperately need something to block the bright lights. If you need it dark to sleep, do not get a room facing the Sheetz gas station.

The location, the room and property cleanliness, the beds and bed sheets, shower, lighting, all were excellent. The staircases between floors were clean and well lit. We used them all the time. Highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast location was fine, but the food could be better. The coffee, which should be a simple thing to do right, looked like a black thick liquid, no coffee smell, no flavour. I asked a server if she could throw out the cup of coffee (as there was no area to dispose of liquids), she answered that she had thrown out coffee many times.

Breakfast was the usual boring motel breakfast. Barely drinkable coffee. Anemic looking sausage. Overcooked eggs. All the cereal was coated in sugar. There was no more milk for cereal when we got to the dining room. The juice was good. Thank god for bagels and cream cheese. Otherwise there would have been nothing for me to eat except a banana.

Coffee, eggs, sausage, frequency of staff checking to see if there were all necessary elements for even a bowl of cereal could have been better. And putting a low sugar cereal out would be amazing instead of the unhealthy stuff people feed their little kids.

Everything was great. The room was clean, and the room was large. Liked the two sinks in the bathroom. Mattress was very comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. Housekeeping staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The cost was great! The location was great. Highly recommended. The breakfast staff kept the area clean and food well stocked.

Breakfast was just ok. Eggs, sauage, and coffee tasted watery.
