Crowne Plaza Hotel Harrisburg-Hershey, an IHG Hotel

I believe the gentleman who checked me in was named Dave. Him and his manager were most kind. He upgraded me to a king city view room and comped my bottle of water. The checkout staff was very kind as well. They offered my a free drink for the road. Every staff member I encountered was very kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond at every interaction.

If I had to be picky and work to find something wrong, I would say the exterior windows are overdue for a cleaning. Not a major issue, but that's the only thing I can think of that could have possibly been better.

During check in the woman behind the desk was very friendly! The bed was very comfortable. I liked that there were large bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. And during check out, even though the man at valet could not find my car … which wasn’t his fault because the people who parked it the night before wrote it down as the wrong type and color vehicle, parked it somewhere they don’t normally park cars and left the key in it … he was very helpful and apologetic.

I did not like that there was only valet parking that cost $25 and they could not find my car. There was a breakfast buffet but it was not included. There was no TV guide in the room and there was hair left all over the bathroom floor. There was a cafe bar in the lobby that had very few hours but during those hours I tried to stop at on more than one occasion and no one was working it.

Amazing staff. Located across the street from UPMC Harrisburg Pa. Our 2 month old grandson was in NICU intensive care with RSV. We stayed for days. Along with our grandsons paternal grandparents. They even allowed us to check in early. Gave our babies a cereal bowl. Did not tell our small grandchildren no about anything. They were empathetic and generous when they didn't have to be. We appreciate this hotel beyond words.

Nothing. The staff was so kind given our situation. We were there unexpectedly. The management and front staff were so empathic . So kind to our grandsons who were grieving their baby brothers hospitalization. The pool was such a great distraction too. ALL the staff was amazing. The valet was also so efficient and kind.

Staff was very polite and helpful. No problems with check-in. The hotel was very clean and well kept inside and out. Bar staff also took care of us and breakfast was very good. Check out was extremely easy

Our room was very small. Do not book this room if you want to sleep. (room 303). We were right next to the HVAC unit of another building that ran off and on all night. The knob in the shower fell off and the tub filled with water while we were showering and was still draining when we left. Other than bar soap to wash, there was no body wash container or small courtesy bottle of body wash. Pillows were worn out and need to be replaced. If you want to park at the parking garage at the hotel it is completely valet and a $25.00 fee which is pretty steep after you pay the cost of the room. All this is Just my opinion others may feel different.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming-everyone. I checked out & had to return the same day. My room key didn't work & I was not looking forward to dragging my belongings back downstairs. Theodore saw me & asked me if I needed help. I showed him both keys didn't work, he used a walkie to get assistance, but no response. He went downstairs & got me new working keys, waiting to make sure I was in. He took the old ones and I didn't have to go anywhere. I REALLY appreciated it, that was a FIRST class move. Things like that are the difference, thank you!!

The room keys! Not sure what happened since my visit earlier in the month, but I've had to get my keys changed at least once after a long work shift.

The hotel was phenomenal! Everything was clean even the elevator smelled good! The food from the restaurant smelled so good! The dinner there was amazing and so was the staff! We also had the breakfast buffet. It was by far the best I've had in a hotel. They also had turkey sausage that they made for us along with made to order omelets! Definitely 5 stars for me! Oh and the valet personnel were also very nice and gave alot of info on the surrounding places to eat and shop!

I didn't like the fact that we didn't stay another night! We will be back!

The underground garage and the fact that it could keep my car during my train trip after checkout. the Amtrak station is only two blocks away, so it’s very walkable as well. And the property wasn’t too far off the exit to find.

It gets congested very quickly once off the exit and I almost made a wrong turn when looking for the hotel. Also wasn’t sure where to pull in to check in or where my car would go while I checked in.

The staff were incredibly helpful, kind and accommodating. we traveled with a small group for an inaugural event. They made the check in and check out procedure incredibly easy and offered to store our luggage. As we were on a time schedule, multiple employees came out to tag and store bags as well as retrieve. They were extremely accommodating.

I would have liked to have a smart TV, but that is minor.

Nate was the best part of it all. While checking in, I explained to him that my husband is at Select Specialty Hospital. Nate said the most beautiful things and by doing so increased my hope. This world would be such a better place if there were more people like Nate. Also, the valet staff were awesome to deal with!

I didn’t catch her name but the woman at the front desk was so sweet and friendly ! She let us get settled then called up to make sure everything was okay! The room was clean, and convenient to what we needed .

I think the only issue we had was the sink faucets was a little loose. so we moved it at one point and water went all over the sink.
