Best Western Plus New Cumberland

The hotel and breakfast were good. The room was clean and immaculate and the location was great.

Did not have blankets or sheets for the pullout couch and only one pillow. My son left a Canon camera charger in the wall near the door to the room in an outlet above the desk. And when we called about it once we got home, they took our number and told us they would check and call back. They did not call back. When we called back a few hours later, we were told that they would check the maids laundry bins and get back to us. We have yet to receive a call. If we get a call back, we will be more than happy to pay the shipping for its return.

The man working the desk went above and beyond to help me get my last minute reservation fixed. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he worked midnight shift, and I mistakenly booked for the next day’s date, even though it gave me an option to put arriving between 12am and 1am, which would have put my arrival on the correct date. He made calls and though I was double charged due to system issues and not being able to fix it then, he had it fixed by morning. Thank you, kind sir!

The lack of clarity when booking through a 3rd party when arriving late at night for what date to use, especially if given an option for arrival time.

Food was delicious and lots of variety Not a fan of pets as we found some black hairs on the pillows . Also the plastic tops on the lamp shades and the wall ac control boxes were dust covered. Staff was great, beds very comfortable bathrooms spotless. Loved the gym and pool as well.

Mentioned above issues of room cleanliness. Price was higher than I’d hoped by 20$ or so.

We loved the breakfast and the gentleman in charge of the breakfast was phenomenal. He was on top of everything and also very helpful and polite. The place was very clean. The pool was fun and warm. They even kept it open a little later for us. I would definitely recommend and stay there again!

The jacuzzi was broken. Would have liked to of tried it out. Maybe next time.

The room was more spacious than it seemed in the photo. The room was also modern with calm, subtle tones that fit well together. The bed was well made and everything was thoroughly cleaned as it should be.

I would have liked for the shower to have glass doors seeing as there was already a hot tub in my room. The bathroom although hidden from the main section of the hotel room, did not compliment the rest of the room.

The place was clean, great staff and was able to get extra towels and shampoo when I needed. We are a family of 5. The pool was clean. The one thing I was disappointed is that on line it said breakfast included and it was not true. The manager apologized for the error on line.

There was nothing we did not like

The place is very beautiful and clean. Staffs are very professional and friendly. It’s easy to go around places for dinner, to get gas and Hershey park. This hotel is the best place to stay if you have kids and if you want to feel at home. They have very things in the rooms. I give a 5 stars. I will choose this hotel again whenever am coming for vacation in PA

There was no breakfast served. They said it due to Covid.

Very clean, friendly staff, coffee and breakfast were top notch, pool was good.

I wish the pool hours were a little longer, and the location was pretty far from my original destination, which was hersheypark.

We came to celebrate my son's 9th birthday. I think he enjoyed the pool more than Hersheypark! The staff was excellent. His birthday cake was dropped accidentally by the woman at the front desk. She promised to have a cake for him the next day which was his birthday. When we arrived back from the park she did as promised chocolate cake with chocolate chips and a birthday card and it was delicious!! A+++++++

Rooms and reception was very clean. They did an exceptional job with the breakfast witch was included in stay. Also had our dog there and all staff, day and night were extremely helpful and friendly. Recommend staying there compared to other motels in area. More money but absolutely worth it.
