Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia City Avenue

A parking lot was a big plus for me, it shares a parking lot with a few food places which I loved, and there was a target almost right next door in case I needed to pick something up quick! The staff was also very kind and the room looked nice and clean, the only minus was if you needed water you need to buy a bottle, but there's actually a water refill at the target next door so we did that before we went on our day trips 😊

The only thing I didn't like was if you wanted water you needed to buy a bottle, but the target next door has a refill station so it worked out fine!

Very comfortable bed - the staff was very friendly - Nate deserves a huge thank you for reaching out and being helpful - we had an "issue" with our toilet and before we knew it it was fixed and for that we were very grateful. The cleaning staff on our floor were so nice - always smiling.

There was in our opinion nothing more that you could do to make our stay anymore comfortable that we were. Keep up the good work.

I love everything about to hotel. The rooms were amazing. Does staff Was own point, they were perfect. The cleaning crew amazing the front desk staff. Amazing, the breakfast crew absolutely wonderful. I love this hotel.

I can't say that there was anything that I did not like. I loved everything about this hotel.

I enjoyed the overall cleanliness of the room and property. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The room was just the right size and you could use a number of devices at once.

Therre was a little damage on the wallpaper in the room I stayed in. The room was a bit chilly, and the thermostat was not easy to work with. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

The fridge in our room didn't work. I had to sit my drinks on AC unit. I was expecting a free continental breakfast with stay but it was 16/person which is pricey for a family and you had to eat in restaurant, not able to bring to room. We went to Dunkin Donuts down the road. on the AC unit to keep cold.

I was charged for parking after only being told I was getting a tag for my car , a car that didn’t Even stay in the parking lot , then when I received my final bill it was a different price than what was on my receipt when I checked out , I was double charged . Only after I called in twice was I issued a credit back to my card , with no explanation as to why I was double charged unbeknownst to be .

The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the hotel bar was nice and had a good selection of drinks. There's also a lot of comfortable seating in the common areas. Also it's very convenient to have a Hertz car rental on site.

The front desk service was not very good. I needed to send a fax and when asked, they said their fax machine was broken. they didn't seem to know the hours of the facilities at the hotel. Possibly due to covid staffing issues but I did expect a little bit more. At this point maid service is on request. There was coffee in the lobby in the morning sometimes.... They often ran out. There is a Keurig machine in the room for coffee. It would have been nice if we could have gotten a resupply of coffee creamer and coffee pods but you have to go down to the library to get these things.

Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable. Lobby is beautiful.

Booking.com states parking is free, but there was a $12 parking fee at the hotel. If you are looking for a hotel IN Philadelphia, this is not it. Not walkable to anything.

It was very clean, the staff was very friendly. Floyd took care of us when we first checked in he was very polite and very helpful give this man a raise.

Maybe the price but it’s a nicer hotel so it’s understandable.

Very safe and comfortable. Close to city center. Great pool area. Spacious rooms. Awesome breakfast service. Love the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser.

We got two rooms. One room didn’t have a comforter in the bed but we didn’t notice until late when we were already in bed- wouldn’t have been an issue but the AC buttons weren’t working so we couldn’t lower the temp. There were also no towels at the pool even when we asked.
