The hotel was clean and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was great too.
A third party web site had double booked us, and I could not get a hold of anyone on the phone either before or after our stay. That is why the rating for staff was poor, there was no manager to help.

The staff! We arrived about 8pm, in the middle of a downpour, and our windshield wipers had stopped working about a mile from the facility. The person at the front desk gave us information on where to find a mechanic (for the next morning) as well as a menu for food delivery. He was extremely helpful and super kind!
It was a little tricky to find, and up behind another hotel. Once we called and asked for directions, it was easy.

We love the comfort of the Hampton inn. The breakfast is always awesome. I love that you have water out all the time and coffee. That is very thoughtful. It’s always super clean.

We have driven across the country spending 10 nights in chain hotels which provide breakfast each night. By far this Hampton was the best. The Manager’s Reception on Tuesday even was welcome and the breakfast the next morning was the best we encountered on our trip.

The room was very dusty and made my allergies flare up. Also, it would be nice to have a plastic laundry bag in the room for wet swim clothes to go in.

Location ideal and easy to find off mail highway, quiet was a key positive
An employee (service person) was NOT wearing a mask despite a major Covid epidemic. He was repeatedly going from the lobby to behind the counter to a room behind the front desk. Might have been hotel maintenance person NOT good. None of the front desk employees asked him to mask up making them just as responsible or irresponsible.

We got stuck in the elevator. Fortunately, there was a way to communicate with front desk, who managed to get it back to 1st floor so we could get out.
Flying insects abundant, some not dead. Stink bug, moth, flies. Housekeeper cleaned the dead ones from window sill, but missed the ones on the picture frame.
