The staff was rude for no reason, we stayed in the pool area with our kids and the next morning when we was leaving the lady at the front desk tried to “CALL THE COPS” saying we were still hangin gout in the room

Good location to the university

Didn’t know we would be in a room in a separate building with no elevator. I paid for a room with a kitchenette and was put in a room without one because I had a small dog with me. Felt like I was downgraded.

I loved the location and they friendly staff. I would have loved to enjoy the pool, it looked really nice. The amount of things to do was nice, and the cleanliness of the facility was wonderful.

The fact that the pool closes to early. Some adults would love to enjoy a night swim when the pool is not full of children 12 and under. Also, a dock would be nice to watch the boats on the water. The air conditioning didn't work well in my room. Also, it was pretty crowded for the space. It did die down about 9 pm, which was nice. Going through the building, the air worked much better in the central area.

I had never stayed in this lodge before, but I'm so happy I did. The property actually does feel like a resort with the layout of the building, the pool, the firepit, and being right next to the lake. The room was very comfortable, clean, and modern. The location was great, only a short drive from downtown Clemson.

I visited during the summer so it was quiet. I enjoyed everything about my stay, although I can imagine that during game weekends it might get busy and noisy. There wasn't a breakfast at the lodge, so that is the only downside.

The room was really great. Everything about the hotel room was great.

The female hostess on Thursday night, Dec 8, was not friendly. She seated us in the corner of the restaurant; myself and my parents who are white, and my mixed kids. We sat waiting for someone to offer water to us and take our order. The hostess never told anyone we were there even when we asked for water after 15 minutes of waiting. After another 5 or 10 minutes of waiting and no one coming to serve us we left the restaurant because we were hungry and had traveled almost 21.5 hours to SC. The hostess remained seated at the reception area of the restaurant the entire time. I've never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Unfortunately they lost our business during our 4 day stay at the hotel.

The location was great and it was right along on the lake. The outdoor area was great and I enjoyed the pool area. Not too far from Clemson University. Front desk representatives were great even though it was busy. Pool gentleman was very nice and had a great conversation with him.

The power went out in the area for a short period of time and the power company was able to get it back up running before it got dark that same night. Great job on the power company part. A brief thunderstorm in the area. I wish I could see more of lake during the summer time. I know during the fall season there will be better view of the lake.

Rooms were very nicely sized and very clean. Bathroom was very roomy for getting ready and dressed. Beds were comfortable. Building and grounds kept very nice.

Only 1 elevator in the center of the building. Had to carry luggage up stairs for the end we were on. We only had to carry up 1 flight, so only a small problem for us, but still an annoyance. Also didn't know active train tracks are just across the road and freight trains come through a few times a night and blow their horns.

This hotel has a lovely view of the pool and lake. The pool itself is a wonderful temperature, and the hot tub is great. The restaurant is very nice, and the rooms are very large. The campus is just a three minute drive, and there is a mall next door with a Starbucks.

I had view of parking lot, which is not that nice. I would recommend paying a bit extra for a pool/lake view. The train noise could be issue if you don't have sound machine.

the Restaraunt food! the Restaraunt STAFF were awesome & lake views were perfect with awesome service & outdoor patios wth umbrella tables overlooking lake , pool & firepit was really a Spa Like serene RELAXING OASIS of calming enjoyable serenity! I love this hotel bc the staff treats you like family & the atmosphere & views are perfect to RELAX , Enjoy ! the lakefront deluxe king room with whole balcony patio I stayed in for the night was perfect just what I needed ! I could live there! ❤️❤️❤️✅🤗

everything Serenity/ patios, food, sofas, fireplaces, room, the staff so kind

very convenient and close to everything. facilities were clean and inviting. beautiful location on the water and had some nice amenities. having a kitchen in the suite was very nice and accommodating.

we had the sign on the door for maid service and the only thing we received was trash taken out and new towels. beds were not made up and soap in the bathrooms was not replenished. there were some hairs in the shower (not ours) that hadn’t been cleaned/washed out prior to our first night’s arrival.
