Hyatt Regency - Greenville

We liked the location and how easy it was to get to things by walking . Being able to walk downtown and get what we needed and never had to leave the hotel. The staff was all friendly and helpful .

I felt like breakfast should have been free each morning as much as you pay to stay . I feel they should have had a continental Breakfast. Breakfast was expensive and the prices for the juice and coffee were too high in my opinion. We had to pay over 50 dollars just to eat Breakfast . That is too high to me for Breakfast.

Comfortable chaise lounge in room (first place I migrated to after long trip), pillows, bed, TV, walking access to wonderful Main Street, friendly helpful staff throughout building, easy access to ice machine, good bathroom supplies and shower, convenient side entry with temporary vehicular access to luggage cart for off-loading and loading back up our car, background jazz music in lobby lending to getaway atmosphere, glass elevators offering fantastic interior views of hotel coming and going (both up and down), interesting helpful array of literature about Greenville and surrounding area available in lobby, feeling "special" from arrival to bittersweet departure back into the real world.

View overlooking ugly rooftops and pavement, $4 water, worn hall carpet, paying extra for parking. My bf complained the refrigerator didn't properly chill bottles of water and drinks we had brought. I thought they were OK but didn't see a way to turn down the temperature. I wish there were newspapers as hotels offered guests in the past but understand they're also terribly expensive these days.

The location was awesome as it was in the heart of downtown and was easily accessible on foot to shops/restaurants. The restaurant also had it's own restaurant that overlooked the main parts of downtown. It was also a short walk to Falls Park on the Reedy which is where Liberty Bridge is located.

The room lacked visual aesthetics. When I walked in, I felt like I was in a dark gray coffin. The ceiling was low and everything was gray/brown hues. There was no rug on the faux hardwood floor and there were no throw pillows on the chaise. There were 2 pictures and that was it. It did not look like the pictures on neither their website nor Booking's website for the same room.

Staff was great, room was SPACIOUS, and the downtown location was perfect. As an added bonus, every Friday night Greenville hosts a festival with live music and vendors right outside the hotel.

The hotel registration/booking server was down over 24 hours, so check-in was a fiasco. However, the staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate impatient guests.

I liked the open atrium located at the bar area. The waterfall was wonderful! Starbucks in the lobby was super sweet! Outdoor seating at the restaurant was just great! Loved the fire bowls and again the water works!

The bar does not have a cocktail menu and the bartenders are pretty green at preparing mixed drinks. I think with a menu they could improve their skills tremendously!

The King Suite Main St *heart eyes* Just a quick trip to sleep before catching an EARLY flight to our honeymoon. Loved our beautiful room, I wish I could have stayed for days, and the hotel left us a gift for our special occasion.

Not much to comment on due to the quick overnight--the airport shuttle will leave you if you are not on-time/early and waiting. Luckily, we didn't have much trouble securing an uber.

We loved our room location and how the room was set up with robes slippers, the toiletries that were in the room were awesome, just everything about our stay was beyond exceptional...we will be returning for another stay!!

As great as the hotel was. You always have your person who just makes it trashy or doesn't have respect for other property, someone had put their chewed gum right above the elevator button. But you always have that one person that has no home training.

The location of the room and its comfort. The property and room were clean, and the staff was pleasant.

I was unhappy the pool was closed, despite outside temperatures in the 80s. We had our 10-year-old son and I book properties specifically for the pool. The pool was not scheduled to open for another month. That would be my only complaint about the hotel.

We love the Greenville area. The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and the food was great.

We just picked a poor date. There happened to be a large dance competition going on, so it was a little crowded. I don’t fault the staff/hotel for this at all.

The inside is beautiful! The Roost restaurant is so great as well. We were able to walk from the hotel to the areas we wanted to go.

When we got there, we had to wait 2 hours for a king bed. It was frustrating, but we were very patient, and Elaine really helped us out. She gave us free waters and a glass of Champagne while we waited.
