Marina Inn at Grande Dunes

Rooms were huge, clean and bed was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Amenities were excellent and the pool was beautiful. Loved that it was out of the main traffic and loved the Starbucks in the mornings.

Check in was at 4 and we had to wait 2 hours after check in to get into our room. I know staff is short handed but the office manager told us our room had probably been ready all along. She stated she would give us a $60 resort credit to use which I was happy with. I charged Starbucks to my room each morning and didn't excede that limit. When I got home I noticed on my bank statement that I had been charged for my purchases. There had never been a credit applied to my room as promised.

I love that the outdoor pull was 24/7. The breakfast food was very delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. I like the size of 2 bedroom Villa. We had plenty of room and didnt feel like we were all on top of each other.

I didn't like the fact that the shuttle to the beach only ran up until 7pm. I didn't like the layout of the parking to the facility. You most definitely needed tranportation to get around. I did not like the fact that they only cleaned the rooms every 3 days. We were leaving by the time it was time for them to clean our room.

I really liked that there was a shuttle bus to the private beach so I did not have to drive. I would have loved to stay at the beach longer but shuttles end at 7pm...all good though. I liked the pool/hot tub. My bed was extremely comfortable and hot water in the shower was consistent!!! Starbucks was in-house too! That was awesome! We were there to relax and that's what we did!

Wifi was a bit spotty, but not terrible. I had a business meeting via Zoom. Wifi did the job. Thank you!

There was no continental breakfast available but my stay was very enjoyable we had a rowdy resident down below us that was smoking what smelled of marijuana on the balcony and arguing.

I didn’t like the price that I paid booking through booking.com I paid $584 over $200 more for this same suite and I felt this was highway robbery with your website and for an additional nights stay with no change’s I only paid $336.00 by booking directly from the facility.

The out side the rooms had spider amf.cob webs every where and there were water bug by the pool and even in the room. The lamp and curtain were dated and extremely dusty. The fixtures were miss match as will. The carpet was very dirty, like it had not been properly cleaned in a while.

Property is beautiful and staff are all friendly, kind, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Shuttle to the beach is timely and quick. Beach chairs and umbrellas were always available, as were chairs at the pool. Loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Loved the 24/7 pool, the room was clean and comfortable. It was awesome to have the restaurants in walking distance and loved the room service. Will definitely stay again.

Wish the the breakfast was included with the booking.

Very well thought out property with amenities: indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, ballrooms, on-site bar, pool bar. On-site restaurant and workout room. Next door is Ruth's Chris and a wonderful Cafe with seating directly on the bay. Jet skiing and boat slips were a hit. A free shuttle to the beach and free valet parking really made our stay special.

Hotel stays at capacity so extending your stay and late check outs are hard to get approved. Remembering the hotel is located on the water, ON THE EXTERIOR, it has its share of large bugs. However they were not in our unit. Please know daily housekeeping service is not available due to COVID but you can request linen from front desk.

The Marina Inn never disappoints! We have made this our family vacation spot and have visited several years. The semi private beaches are always nice and clean, the pools are great, and I love the fully stocked kitchen which allows me to cook for my family to avoid eating out every time. We had an issue with the pull out bed in the living room and the staff took care of it right away. The location is close enough to shopping, attractions and more. So much to do in so little time. Needless to say that we will be back.

I guess because of the year off with COVID. The prices seems to be more this time around. I compared my prices to my previous trips and I paid significantly more. That seems to be the trend with all vacations. The middle bathroom was starting to rust a bit so the tub looked a bit dated. I had to convince my girls it was normal but getting them to shower in the “old” tub was a challenge. Not a big deal but a challenge. For the price you pay you want to be able to comfortable in all aspects.

The view was breathtaking, I loved having bellhops and valets. The hot tub amazing. The bed was so comfortable along with the pillows. I had 2 shower heads on my shower, felt wonderful. The view of the bridge, got a good picture with a riverboat close to it. The valets and bellhops were extremely nice, they took great care of my car, always fast getting my car. Our unit had a washer and dryer that was a total plus since we love to set in the hot tub. I would definitely recommend the 2 bedroom suite.

I got a headache and no excidren, Tylenol or Alevee available anywhere on the premises. The place is beautiful but the carpet had big stains on the floor, really took away from the whole plushy experience we were having. I put a picture of what was labeled lobby, but that was our living room and you can see the big stain on the floor, bedrooms had same like stains. Was only one pouch of coffee, so had to request more. You almost need a map to get around, lol, really though, we kept getting turned around. The dirty carpets were my biggest thing, so beautiful but then you see them in every room definitely takes away from that pampered feeling.
