Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls Downtown

The bed was just right, it was very clean, and very quiet. Because the lobby has a public restaurant (Crave has great food and atmosphere!) and Starbucks, they require the key to access guest rooms so you feel secure. The staff from the front desk to the housekeeping were very nice. We were able to check in remotely and use the app on the phone for the room key, it was super convenient. The front desk was helpful in giving out a complimentary sewing kit to fix my dress. Underground parking is available, which is nice in the winter!

The only thing I can recommend to improve would be to make it known that breakfast stops at 10, though admittedly had I checked in in-person vs the app I likely would been notified.

We only had bagels there one morning and ordered off the menu another morning. It was good. Your waiters were all friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. One waiter never came back with our check. We had to ask the bus man to find him. Then he assumed we were splitting our appetizer 3 ways. It wasn't our intention. No big deal and just giving feedback

We received wrong information at check-in and our room key was non functional. Your maintenance man is wonderful

This location is fantastic. It is right on the river walk greenway, and easy to walk to Falls Park along the path or to cross over and walk around the cute artsy district. We didn't eat at Crave, but it has great reviews and seems like it would be a great choice with beautiful views. I liked the key card access to all of the floors and elevators. As a female traveler I especially appreciate this safety feature. They have free parking in a parking lot or in an underground parking deck. We were able to park right next to the elevators in the parking deck which was super convenient. We didn't have to worry about the weather and it made it easy for my mom to get her things up and down from the room. The staff was also very helpful.

This hotel was one of the more expensive that we stayed at on our 11 night trip. While our room was nice, there were some stray hairs on the bathroom floor and the water pressure in the sink was low. The pillows also weren't especially comfortable. For the price, I would have expected higher cleaning standards and perhaps a credit for breakfast in the morning. Even 10% off would be a nice amenity to offer.

The room was lovely, well appointed and clean so exceeded in most ways. The only reason I didnt rate it 5 stars is that it seemed small for the price and since it's in South Dakota not a major Mecca of entertainment or population. Having said that, the food was superb, the staff great, the room already mentioned and lovely location... so if I am back in Sioux Falls I'd certainly book here again.

The staff in all areas of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The hotel if very nice and clean. The only thing that needs to be better is the parking. Because there is a restaurant in the hotel; which is nice to have, there is hardly any parking for hotel guests during peak restaurant hours. There should be parking dedicated to only hotel guests to help with that issue. But otherwise, it was a good stay for my and a friend.

Room was exceptionally clean and pleasant. Bedding and pillows were so comfortable and sheets were soft. The restaurant Crave is outstanding. Fabulous sushi and specialty cocktails that were delicious!

Can't think of anything except the shampoo/conditioner that was provided. I usually bring my own but forgot this time. I didn't care for the brand but that's just my opinion.

Terrible parking!! Blankets on the beds are slippery and ineffective. Cotton is a far superior material for sheets and blankets staying put.

The restaurant Crave was very good and loved the outdoor seating. So convenient to everything could walk everywhere and is right on the walking/biking path along the river which was nice. You can take it and walk to Falls Park in 15 minutes.

The beds are firm which for me doesn’t work but others will like.

I liked the view of the river and the front desk staff, Ryan, was wonderful.

The lighting in the room and bathroom was not good. It was frustrating trying to put my makeup on.

We were driving cross country and we stopped at this hotel along the way. Great location on the river, there is a paved trail that leads you to Sioux Falls right next to the hotel. A short scenic walk to the falls from the hotel. The rooms were quiet and comfortable and the food at the restaurant was good and the servers were pleasant.
