Hyatt Place Sioux Falls South

Breakfast was good. Would have like a little more variety such a French toast or pancakes or pastries. But what we had (eggs, sausage and potatoes) was very good! Location and ease getting in and out was great!

More variety for the continental breakfast.

The room was clean and smelled good. The shower was fantastic with good pressure and long-lasting hot water. Very comfortable bed pillows. Room darkening blinds worked perfectly.

"Resturaunt/Bar" very disappointing. Only wine and beer at bar, very few options on the limited food menu. Heater in room was rather loud when kicking in, and the thermostat clicked very loud when cycling on and off (not good for a lite sleeper). Could also hear water lines banging in the wall when the shower was in use in the other room.

The room was comfortable. The king bed was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The coffee (when available) was very good.

The parking lot was mostly nucleated of snow. The bar/restaurant was advertised in the elevator, but when we asked the manager, she said it was technically closed. So we walked to the nearby Sandbar Grill in the frigid snow storm .... it was good but cold and icy walkways. The room the breakfast was in, was very chilly.

We had planned to stay one night in Sioux Falls but the weather got the best of us and we had to stay an extra night. The king room was large enough to hang out in with a really nice sectional couch and comfortable bed. Coffee was on in the bar/breakfast area all day so we were pretty happy with that. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The crew running the snow plow was on top of the parking lot and driveway. Watching them go round and round was quite entertaining. Really recommend staying here.

The room was very nice and the staff was excellent very helpful.

There are a few items in the bathroom that should be fixed. The hand held shower hangs so it sprays out of the tub and a couple other things in there also. The door also wasn’t exactly hung correctly you can see daylight at the bottom but not at the top. The room was very comfortable though and the beds were awesome.

We had a great experience. We are Sioux Falls residents, transitioning to new home and needed a couple nights to do that. We were pleased and surprised with our stay at the Hyatt! The staff was terrific, the room was pleasantly large and clean. Our grandkids came over to swim and it was so fun to share this with them! We will highly recommend the Hyatt at Lake Lorraine!

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The view of the lake was beautiful. The staff were informative with fast service during the stay.

Breakfast food options were fairly unhealthy without much of fresh fruits such as apples. Bananas were always out of supply by 8 am. And I stayed five nights in room 230.

Very clean and comfortable

the morning of checkout we noticed an Orange cover on our smoke detector. My husband knew what it was as he is a contractor. He took it off. It was a plastic lid that covered the sensor of the detector that clearly said REMOVE PRIOR TO USE. So if there was a fire we wouldn't have even known and could have potentially died because of this mistake. I think a refund is in order.

Everything was superb. The facilities were gorgeous, amenities were excellent, room was immaculate, and the breakfast passes other competitors by far. The patio area overlooking the lake was a highlight for my family and I traveling with our dogs. It was a peaceful and beautiful way to enjoy our meals.

the property, amenities, and staff were all very welcoming! breakfast was much nicer than other hotels I have been to!

the king sized bed that my wife and I had in our room really could use a flip. It seemed like there is usually one guest who books that room and always sleeps on one side. Pillows were also very firm and could use some more options of density! loved the stay over all!
