Holiday Inn Express Nashville-Downtown Conference Center, an IHG Hotel

Hotel is in nice location and walking distance to everywhere. It is about a 10 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants and took us about 25 minutes to walk to Nissan Stadium. However, keep in mind that the walk back is uphill. If you don’t want to walk uphill then stay closer to 5th street. The breakfast has a lot of options but ends at 9:30. I enjoyed their social time from 4-7 in the lobby each day as they had a singer and free food. The staff were all super nice.

We were here July 2023 and The hotel is in the middle of a major construction zone. Some of the roads are closed or blocked so keep this is kind when traveling. Also the construction workers start really early and depending on your room location depends on how much noise you start hearing. We reserved a king room but because we did reservations on booking.com the hotel said at check-in they don’t guarantee that you’ll get this type of room and we ended up with a room with 2 full size beds. We also did not have a car with us and we got charged the $40 something a day fee for a car, I will say they took it off and were very nice staff, I would just check your charges for accuracy before leaving.

The location was perfect for walking around downtown Nashville. The breakfast was great (but there were not a lot of options for people who can't have dairy). The afternoon snacks were delicious. The staff was excellent. We had some issues with a clogged toilet and a clogged tub and they came and fixed it right away. We also had another issue that they resolved to our satisfaction and the best of their ability. We reserved a room for 5 people and they reached out to booking.com and told them that they were sold out, but booking.com did not respond. When we showed up, we only had a room with 2 double beds and no pull out couch. The hotel said that they didn't have any other rooms and they did not have rollaways and the hotel could not refund us because we booked through a 3rd party, but they reimbursed our parking to make up the difference. I don't know what we would have done if our friend had shown up, but I don't blame the hotel for this issue. They had exceptional customer service and I was very impressed with them.

The communication issue between booking.com and the hotel.

The room was large & clean but right over the roof of the 1st floor. The breakfast had a nice selection before my long days at a conference. The location was close proximity of the main "strip" area. I was able to walk to my conference location (.3 miles)

The lady that checked me in was not as inviting or forthcoming with info. I had to ask where is my room after she handed me the key. All other interactions with the Team Members were great. The room overlooked the 1st floor roof so the view was less than desirable. The A/C fan was extremely loud. I did respond to the initial text send from the hotel asking how it was going. I received a response later that they would be willing to move me, however, I was already out with my conference-goers. The pool was open but the floor of the pool was an off-color.

The people of Nashville are so fun and friendly. Hotel is walking distance to everything, put on your walking shoes, you are not going to walk up the hill in Stilettos now! Clean hotel, front desk was very polite and helpful. Breakfast each morning was great and room was comfortable. Apps in the foyer each nice with the singer was a great bonus.

We asked for towels one and night and the guy that brought them was not very nice at all. We had kids partying in the room next to us all night....we didn't complaint cause its Nashville, Its party city.

room a great size but a little dated- could do with a bit being a bit more modern/ fresh small bathroom pool is an added bonus but very noisy due to nearby construction site ( obviously this is not the fault of the hotel) pool area also a little dated

Almost everything about my friends and I’s stay here was wonderful. Very kind and friendly staff who were super helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Nice walking distance to stuff in the surrounding area.

The one thing that’s keeping this from a 10/10 rating is an issue my friend ran into one morning at breakfast. They offer a breakfast buffet, which was nice. But my friend, who can’t eat pork, got what was called a “veggie omelette”. You would think a veggie omelette only has veggies, but she found ham in hers. Food stuff isn’t an area you want to have these kinds of mistakes in. It can be a potential health hazard. Other than that, I quite enjoyed my stay here.

The location was perfect as we were able to walk to many of the venues and popular attractions. The hotel lobby/areas and rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and more than enough with many options to choose from. The breakfast staff was super friendly. The afternoon reception with snacks and live music was a nice plus.

We wished that there was an option for self parking. The valet parking was an expensive addition to our bill.( $49.99 plus taxes per day. )

The breakfast never had orange juice, only apple juice. The food was cold. We loved the evening snacks. There was only one elevator working the entire morning we were there. It was a full hotel and it was impossible to get 1 elevator to accomodate all of the guests checking out and coming in,

The parking was unacceptable!!! $42 per day to park your car in the garage is not right! The Holiday Inn down the street had free parking. This hotel should not have charged us after charging so much for the room also. We paid alot for our room and for only one elevator to be working is unacceptable. Also, The pool water was green and cloudy. I own a pool and I would NEVER have my pool get to that condition.

It's a beautiful hotel. Wonderful amenities, courteous staff. They let us check in early. Breakfast was phenomenal.

I didn't get the room I paid for, no sofa, smaller beds. I presume that's because they let me check in early, but a heads up would have been nice. Broadway was under construction, so you couldn't even get across the street. I would stay again after that's done for sure. No drugstores or convenience stores nearby.

Excellent beds, clean, friendly and very helpful staff, Valet parking. Close proximity to night life. Best breakfast buffet I have had when staying places. Lighting in corridors was awesome.

Wasn't informed of extra $48 to park at Holiday Inn Express for each night. Ice wasn't in a machine to dip out and the bags in the freezer ripped when you tried to get them out. Drinks from lobby were hot. Our refrigerator in our room didn't work. Very noisy hallways you could hear in your room.
