Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis East

The room was nice and clean and the staff was very pleasant. I had a great time with friends and family that I met there. I will surely refer friends and stay there again when I am in town.

My problem was when I booked the room the reservation said that I could pay at the room. I was thinking that I could pay cash, however I cold not. Also I had to have an additional $100 on the credit card that I did not see when I was reserving the room.

I liked how clean our room was and the overall appearance of the hotel was beautiful inside.

We had two small pots and one big one. No frying pans. There wasn't any hot breakfast food in the mornings. They had only bagels, yogurt, muffins, coffee, and fruit grain bars. We didn't get a roll of tissue sent to our room as promised so an hour later we had to go back down to the front desk. We seen a housekeeper in the hall and had to ask for more towels. She wouldn't give us more then three wash cloths..We had 3 families total that came and one of them was given a dirty room. Wasn't anything cleaned up yet so they had to give her one that was. Other then those minor things I would of gave it a 10. Staff was nice they worked together to get all three of our rooms close together as possible so it was appropriated!

There was a discrepancy on the bill that I received at checkout , leaving me upset . I went through Booking.com , but Hampton wanted to charge me $184 in excess of what Booking said I owed . The woman at the hotel said it was for incidentals . I left a voicemail for the manager at Hampton who called me back 2 days later . We eventually straightened up the bill . I have stayed here before and never had this trouble . ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILL .

Great breakfast available scrambled eggs bagels cereal fruit juices coffee so many options available! Unlike some motels in memphis with coffee & breakfast bars only and they list it as “free breakfast” yeah right.

Breakfast was ok. We like to buy breakfast food to have in the room.

Eggs were cold. Would have preferred biscuits and gravy.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Area was well lit and felt safe.

The pool was not opened. I only didn't like that, that information was not made available to me when I reserved the room. But due to covid, I understood their reasons.

Bkfst was good.had varied items and quality was good.

Nobody likes to payalot but I wasn't provided my AARP discount even afteri asked.

Good breakfast, Erika at front check in was excellent.

Room could have been ready a little earlier, was 4:00pm before we could check in.

This property is well kept & is exactly what you can expect from the photos without any surprises. The staff is friendly & the rooms are nice! The staff are very friendly & professional during my stay. I would recommend!
