Fairfield Inn & Suites Memphis I-240 & Perkins

The front desk staff Toni and Dominique along with Ms. Gloria and Mr. James (dining/breakfast) didn't mind bending over backwards to accommodate us, at any given time. Breakfast though continental, was superb. Mr. James saw to that. Our stay was very pleasant. We were getting away from home because we lost power to our home for over 7 days/nights.

The advertisement for the room we reserved, was misleading. It said double room with double beds which made it sound like it was two rooms. Because of that, the price was more than what we wanted to pay. This particular facility isn't disable friendly. No grab bars anywhere inside the property, especially, none in the bathroom. The room didn't have adequate outlets; no dresser to speak of; and just a long table, to set up a laptop.

The room was simple but nice. The beds were very comfortable! The shower had good pressure. The person who checked us in was friendly but monotone. We were allowed a late checkin of almost 11:30pm and there were no problems. Breakfast in the morning had a good variety and the guy who was taking care of it stayed on top of keeping it stocked. I love that there was milk and chocolate milk as well as good coffee. I would stay again! All staff was friendly. The woman who checked us out (receipt says Clerk DDM) even wished my son good luck with his baseball camp.

The room was supposed to be $150 with taxes and fees and my card is still showing $180 charge days later. The breakfast was good, but should invest in waffle makers as opposed to the Belgian waffles for the toaster, they were not very good. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would like and the shampoo and conditioner in the dispensers were empty.

This was last minute stay. The staff was very helpful at check in and provided all the needed information. The breakfast served was great. We really enjoyed the options and the staff kept it well stocked. There was always someone cleaning up the common areas which kept the place very clean.

The location was not great. The area is a little run down.

Best part about our stay was the breakfast. Had boiled eggs, sandwiches form a fast food place(forgot which one) waffles, oatmeal, bunch of different toppings, I would stay here again just for the breakfast. I actually ate so much I was still full around lunch time.

water would not shut off in the tub it ran the whole time, bathroom door was super hard to open or close,bathroom fan didn’t work at all & there was no cord on the room phone so couldn’t call front desk.

I stayed here because it was close and an easy drive to the hospital.i had surgery scheduled at 5 am and check in and check out was super easy. The front desk receptionist was amazing, nice,helpful and extremely considerate.

The hotel was nice but could use a little updating.

The convenience of locations the rates are lovely and the staff were very courteous and friendly

I think all hotels should give you an option of a smoking & non smoking rooms. Just a friendly suggestion from a client that has stayed in your hotels over 50xs within the past 14 months ; all floors of your hotels are nonsmoking , but you should have at least 1 floor designated to smokers. Even if its the very top floor. There are many ways and many products that totally remove smoke odors. I know because Im a smoker but my husband isn't. Nor our home or either one of our vehicles have smoke odors in them.Trust me I know because I NEVER EVER smoke in front of my husband; in fact he thought I quit because he never smells smoke. I wo U ld be more than happy to share my secret with your company. The pricing on those snacks are absolutely ridiculous.

Due to Covid there was a polite, friendly gentleman serving the eggs and bacon. The ladies at the front desk during check in and check out were courteous and friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

There was noise from the highway, but there’s not really anything they can do about that now. My husband used ear plugs, I slept fine without them.

Very nice, clean, and peaceful. Didn't wake up in time for free breakfast but otherwise was a great stay.

The room I had had no bath tub. The pool was closed. And you had to wear a mask in the fitness room.
