Americas Best Value Inn Alpine

I like that this is one of the only properties in alpine that provides smoking rooms as we are people who smoke. I also like the location because it isn’t hard to find at all and the rooms are always very clean and organized.

I have no complains about this hotel whatsoever!

I stayed at this facility 15 years ago and can tell that it has been completely remodeled inside. The furnishings are new and the bathrooms are modern and updated. The exterior does not look as attractive as the Hampton next door, but the rooms are more than satisfactory.

I had recieved an email stating the the facility would not be able to serve food due to COVID-19. Based on that, I walked across the highway to get coffee, but found on my return that they had coffee, juice, and breakfast sandwiches. If the email had been more specific, I would have taken advantage of that. Not a big deal, but they might want to know why I went across the street.

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. We were surprised how quiet the room was, other places we have stayed in Alpine were more affected by train noise, or maybe we were just extra tired. We would stay here again.

Every thing was functional, although some things were a bit worse for wear, such as the lamp being wobbly. But nothing really to complain about.

The room was quiet and pretty large. The staff was friendly, too.

No hottub, but at that price you can't have everything. It was pretty cheap for the area.

The management and staff were very friendly, accommodating, and informative. The hot breakfast provided was very good. Room was comfortable and had a large mini fridge. Location was convenient to center of town and as a starting point to Big Bend.

Parking area needs to be repaved.

The room size was huge! the rooms were clean and quiet. fridge and microwave. there were no issues with check in and check out. very quiet.

the breakfast was cold, no place to heat it up besides your room. But they did have alot to pick from.

The touch and go breakfast was surprising good! Closest hotel to Big Bend at a good rate. Very spacious room.

TV was a bit small when viewing from the bed. Blinds didn’t have an option to draw them with a lighter shade (white) that still lets in light but blocks view from the balcony/walkway.

Well lit at night. Felt pretty safe. Modern interior and clean. Included small microwave and fridge. A sitting area with sofa and coffee table. I would’ve stayed longer since the bed was comfortable and the room felt cozy. Complimentary breakfast and coffee.

The parking lot was unfinished and dirt rocks. Didn’t know where or how to park since there were no painted lines. Building exterior and grounds could use some TLC.
