Embassy Suites Amarillo Downtown

We could walk right across the street to Hodgetown Stadium and watch the baseball game. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable.

For as nice as the motel is, there was only 1 elevator working. The staff when we arrived was not very informative, was very short, and when the night shift desk clerk arrived, the one helping us more or less walked immediately away and told us she was tired and needed to go to the restroom. The new clerk didn’t have log in info so had to wait for another manager to show up and help. There was a long line waiting to check IN, and at 4:30pm some were still waiting on their rooms that had paid for an Early Check In.

the convenience of checking in and location. the staff, service, spacy room, breakfast was excellent. we had issues with our refrigerator not cooling and it was replaced within 30 minutes

the bar closes to early. we attended a baseball game in Amarillo, upon completion of game, our party was looking forward to enjoying some beverages in the comfort of our hotel and bar closes at 1030 pm. several people were anticipating some relaxing time at the bar/patio area.

Front desk staff, valet, and employees we saw walking around were amazing. Friendly, helpful, and saw them always cleaning.

This isn't my first time staying at this hotel. The bar staff is still the one area that needs improvement. Either get them more help or teach them to be friendlier. Shouldn't feel like we are bothering them to order foods or drinks and every time I have stayed that is the impression I get. That they do no want to serve customers anything.

The room was spacious. There is a restaurant in the hotel with pretty good choices. Free breakfast was great. Love Embassy Suites happy hour reception. I liked that there was a choice between valet parking and self parking in a garage across the street.

The dinner service in the restaurant was lacking. Seemed like newer staff. The pool was pretty crowded, lack of towels and chairs.

Overall staff from front desk to kitchen was overall amazing and on top of it.

To no real fault of anyone specifically cause i understand it was busy in the morning but the cappuccino machine French vanilla ran put i was really looking forward to it. Also the tablet in my room wasn't working so am not sure what it was for so if maintenance on electrical devices where done more often maybe i could've used it for whatever it was for.

everything except the wall of weeds. If you need to have the wall of weeds. Make it of fruits and vegetables. The restaurant could actually serve fresh vegetables daily. Give it up. the guests would eat the fresh fruit. There Breakfast was to die for.

well I sort of covered that above. it was your wall of weeds. also I did not realize I would have to pay for parking.

Very nice room and easy off the highway, not so easy back on but there was construction. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and so glad that we stayed overnight in Amarillo.

Arriving at 2 am, there time, and having to move the car to paid parking across the street was very strange and frustrating. We were exhausted. Then getting up and not having breakfast available per their time was also sad for the money that we spent.

The breakfast was great. The beds awesomely comfortable. I most liked having a separate room for visiting with guests. The noon checkout time was practical and realistic. Not many hotels have a noon checkout but it is a great feature.

Parking across the street with no skybridge to it. Although the staff was courteous and met our needs, it was very busy and noisy in the lobby when we checked in. The service, in spite of the noise, was excellent.

Breakfast was awesome, best in all hotel stays. We had trouble with the air conditioning and the engineer helped us move after it was going to be too long to fix. The staff was excellent.

The handicap accessible rooms are the furthest from the elevator. No bad since I was in my wheelchair but if I had tried to walk, I would have never made it. They need to be closer.

The beds were so comfortable and Joe at the front desk was amazing. I think he was doing 10 things at once but truly a customer service pro. We were in the car 10 hours with our small kids, and Joe was able to get us into our room 45 minutes early. We were so exhausted and he seriously made our whole trip! The pool was wonderful, food choices around the hotel ideal, and zero noise at night. We will always stay here when in Amarillo!

The pool was a little too warm, but didn't stop us from enjoying it for 1-hour.
