Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Amarillo-East, TX

Great vibe. Very comfortable and very attractive styling. I was surprised how cute and modern it was inside, compared to the kind of boring outside . And the inside is what matters. Often, rhe pics online can be deceiving, and you walk in disappointed. But not here. The value for the money is great Helpful staff. So clean. Pretty good free breakfast served. Eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, and more.........And did I mention how clean it was?? :)

Some people in reviews said it could be noisy from inside. I always travel with a noisemaker (sound machine), so I can't confirm or deny. Some complained about the faucet placement in the sink. It is weird, I guess. But it didn't hinder me using it at all.......So I guess I didn't have any actual negatives/cons about this place :)

The Pool was closed. The hotel was full, front desk knew it and so did everyone else … and yet there were no extra chairs for the breakfast area. Lots of people standing and trying to get a bite to eat before hitting the road.

Location was good and was pretty quiet even though it’s near major freeway. Breakfast was disappointing.

By 7am scrambled eggs were gone and didn’t make anymore. Just had prefabed omelets. Food wasn’t hot, just Luke warm.

Property is clean as all Hampton inns.

The property was fine. The staff needs some improvement. Not friendly at all. Not sure they understand American English.

Loved the way the room was arranged. Bed was not up against wall to either room adjoining us. Location was great if using Interstate

Morning staff person at the desk not very friendly. He must have had a bad day. Price for room was too high. I stayed at a Hampton Inn for 3 days prior to this stay in Marana Arizona and it was $50 a day less for a more upscale neighborhood

The room is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. The flooring is not carpeted...good for pets. Very good hot breakfast Walking distance to Big Texan Steak Ranch Close to I-40

Pet fee is expensive

This Hampton Inn is easily accessed from Interstate40 Upon our arrival and departure the staff was very friendly and accommodating Our King room was very clean and we had plenty of room and sitting area Since we were traveling with our pet we did not go out for dinner; however, we were extremely pleased the Big Texan delivered

It was ok, generic chain hotel, good seize rooms, clean, close to the famous restaurant with 72oz steaks. Good for a one night stay when on the road.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to other Hampton Inns.

The location was great. Breakfast was adequate, the room was clean and comfortable.

The young lady at the front desk told us nothing about what was available, breakfast time, etc.

fitness room and breakfast was superb!!

only thing was water in bathtub was only warm was not able to get it hot enough to my liking
