Route 66 Inn

I did not stay for breakfast. The bed was very clean and comfortable. I'll admit I was a little thrown back by location...looked sketchy in the dark, but once I saw other customers coming in I felt better and kept my reservation.

The desk and greeting area cluttered and disheveled, but room was clean and comfortable

Parking in front of room. WIFI worked well. In room amenities like small frig and TV channel choices. Upgraded rooms in older motel.

It was as expected. Good value compared to older motels in the area. Traffic was busy in AM and PM, but that's RT 66 on a week day. No complaints.

Despite the Inn's historic nature - being around during the heyday of Route 66 - the room was well furnished and it felt like a total remodel had taken place. They managed to blend the old-timey with the modern. My GPS brought me to the site in a round about way so I can't say much about the location except it was I-40 Business. The owner was very helpful when I had a problem with the TV remote. There was a vending machine near the lobby so I didn't have to got outside the motel for a soda.

The surrounding neighborhood was a bit "iffy" for a single woman traveling alone. I felt very comfortable and safe at the motel however.

Not fancy but it has clean white sheets on a comfortable bed with a hot shower. Convenient parking in front of room. Larger fridge is handy too. Friendly owner/manager. Looks like they are renovating the other rooms too.

Neighborhood is a bit grim: boarded up businesses, some cars with smashed windows near by. But we always felt safe and comfortable in the motel.

This property was wonderful! It was so very clean which was refreshing and it was right off of Route 66. It was very close to a historic 6th street as well where I wanted to hang out. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were just so nice. They have al been recently remodeled and they did a great job! I will definitely stay here again on next years trip!

The only complaint I have is the speed bumps in the parking lot are HUGE. Even going very slowly over them it’s a pretty big bump. I was actually worried that it damaged the underside of my car but it was ok. Just be very careful and mindful going over them.

Very clean!! Safe. Comfortable. Mini fridge, microwave, single serve coffee maker. Desk with chair and table with chair. Body soap and shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower. Great water pressure. Staff were nice.

Shower curtain needed replaced.

It's a very clean, single floor hotel with a very nice, clean, comfortable room with very comfortable beds. No pool unfortunately, but for the price, felt I had a good stay there. Will stay there again in the future if in the area.

Would've liked to had a hot breakfast available.

Surprisingly quiet inside the room even though the traffic on the 'main drag' was quite loud when outside, and it seems to be a road where people go to race up and down on Friday nights, too (a very 'working-class' neighborhood). Quite decent room considering the lower price. Nothing fancy about this place, but honestly anyone booking here would not expect anything fancy, so that's fine with me.

Parking is terrible, but not much can be done about that. It is what it is.

The property is older (1950s? 1960s?) but is basically sound, and the owner seems to be in the process of renovating to modernize. My room was fully updated and impeccably clean. Also, the desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. A great value.

The location in town is a bit down on its heels. (In comparison, the motel is noticable for the neatness of its grounds. )

Cleanliness and that the price was really reasonable for a quick over night stay while traveling. I was really impressed, not to mention my warm welcome.

I can't really find anything that I didn't like. I liked my first night traveling to Texas, and called and reserved my room, for my trip back to Colorado. It is a cozy, little Ma & Pop ran motel, they are very nice people.
