La Quinta by Wyndham Arlington North 6 Flags Dr

This hotel was the best I have been to in a while! I am very picky about the cleanliness of the rooms and the breakfast. It was absolutely the best. The room was clean, we had a little issue with the air in the bedroom part of the suite, we let them know and by time we got back to our room in less than 2 hrs, the room was perfectly icey! The staff was great and helpful, but there was gentleman named, Dylan, and he was awesome. I asked him for pillows, soap, wash rags, tv remote, and he grabbed it all with a big smile and asked if there was anything else, still smiling! He was quick and he really cared about making the guest happy! There was one shuttle driver we really enjoyed, he keeps his hair pulled back in a bun and a cap. He was very talkative and interacted with guest on the bus. He was a great driver which was questionable with a couple of them. My oldest child even mentioned when she saw him around the hotel how nice he was and he was her favorite for sure! The pool area was also nice, it was clean and the splash area was a neat feature for younger ones. The pool size is pretty decent and lots of sitting room for guest that do not want to swim! I would stay at this hotel anytime I am in there area, even if I am not going to 6Flags, Rangers Game, and water park!

Check in was a little slow. The room keys were not the best. We were able to get them to work after about 10 times of swiping until the last day, then we ended up getting another key because it wouldnt work at all.

The breakfast was yummy with lots of options. They even had Texas shaped waffles..(My fav!) It was a very convenient location relatively close to everything. The pool is open till 12 which is AWESOME! They also have a little bar down in the lobby where you can grab some drinks.

The few downsides...the halls & elevators were pretty warm. It was almost like the AC wasn't on there or they had it turned way up. It wasn't a big deal because we didn't spend much time in the halls or elevators but it was noticeable. The only other thing was that the walls seemed pretty thin. When walking down the hall you could easily hear conversations from inside rooms.

The room was spacious, VERY clean and up to date. The bed was comfortable and there was a recliner, plus a desk area for working. It also included a mini fridge and a microwave. There was a lobby bar that was open in the evening and I loved that I could order a glass of wine and take it to my room. The hot breakfast was typical....scrambled eggs, bacon and biscuits/gravy. And, of course, Texas shaped waffles made fresh! Coffee was fresh and hot. The were cold breakfast options also. The hotel was very conveniently located near Globe Life Park (baseball stadium) and AT and T Stadium (Football). I was able to use the hotel's shuttle to go and from the baseball game so it was a great value to have free parking at the hotel and easy transportation to/from the game. Six Flags was right next to the hotel. I would stay here again if I was attending any events in the vicinity.

The staff wasn't unfriendly, but they weren't super welcoming either. The shuttle drivers however were very nice and helpful.

The pool area was exceptional. The location and the shuttle service was great and also with flying in from out of town and having to check out of the hotel by 11am, we were able to leave our bags with the front desk staff while being gone to the Rangers baseball game to solve our situation. The staff was very accommodating and helpful and the shuttle drivers were all so wonderful as well, one even offered us free water because it was so hot which was very nice!

It was a little pricey! No shuttle service from both Dallas area airports.

I loved that my room was clean and comfortable. The staff that greeted us were very friendly. During the stay there was a gentleman asking if everything was going good. He was super nice. I’m so glad this hotel is still excellent. I’ve been here many times.

The only person that wasn’t so nice was the lady that I checked out with. She didn’t really acknowledge me. I stood there for awhile waiting on her and then when she finally looked at me she just took my key card and that was it. No thank you no nothing.

The hotel was safe, clean, fantastic location, the staff was friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to make our stay wonderful shout out to Abigail, Rayne, Jenny and the chefs in the kitchen coffee was always hot and plentiful Mr Kelly the shuttle bus driver took Pick me up from the airport took me to Walmart drop me off at the outlet mall and picked me back up I feel like I had my own personal chauffeur, always tip your driver! The pool was so clean and refreshing and the hot tub was awesome Plenty of towels on hand We even saw Fireworks from Six flags that’s right across the street

Very comfortable and clean hotel, the staff was very friendly, they supply you with sufficient supplies towels etc. well located especially if you are heading to the stadiums. The shuttle was such a big plus, we all appreciated it.

I had a room on the first floor, this means that if there is lots of noise on the ground floor its gets loud in the room too; The TV in the lobby was on high one of the nights, and it was really loud made it hard to sleep.

Loved everything about the property with the exception of 2 things…

When I arrived I was given the key to the wrong room which was occupied I had to go back to the front desk to be assigned another room. Then as I was needing new sets of towels I had to go downstairs to get my own towels because the cleaning staff only applies new towels if you request a day prior. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️Other than that the location was great. The rooms were nice . The pool was awesome. Breakfast was great.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay at La Quinta for our trip to watch the Cowboys. Abigail on the front desk was great - friendly and very helpful. The free shuttle bus to/from AT&T Stadium/DFW airport was a real bonus. The buffet breakfast was good, with lots of choice and plenty of seating despite the hotel being busy with guests staying for the football. We were able to leave our suitcases at the hotel after we had checked out as our flight back to the UK wasn't until the evening, so that was a great help and so we were able to spend some time at the nearby Grand Prairie Outlet Mall before we left. La Quinta is on a busy road but there is a Denny's, a Bombshells and a Subway all within a short walking distance. When we come to watch the Cowboys again we will definitely consider using this hotel.

We loved the location.The Staff and the person concerning shuttle service were very kind and very helpful and accommodating. The Deluxe room was very large and roomy. And the beds were perfect for a great night’s sleep. Thank You to all who served us and spoke with us and made our beds so comfortable. The room was very clean and we always appreciate the cleaning ladies great hard work to make us feel clean and comfortable. We would have rated the hotel a 10 but the breakfast was not as good as we have had in our past stays with LaQuinta. Thank You to all!😊
