Sentral East Austin at 1614 E Sixth

Everything about the stay was great. The location… ease of access checking in. But especially the very prompt replies when I reached out with questions. This was a very wonderful stay and the property managers were incredibly helpful. Not to mention, very nice and clean apartment- comfortable and felt very safe as a solo traveler. AND shampoo and conditioner and other amenities provided which is always nice! I would stay here again or live here if I lived in Austin.

only gripe- no beach towels or spare blankets in the room. Unless I missed it, unclear WiFi instructions or details about the fobs/how to access the pool. But again, I reached out and had answers in minutes!

The amount of space in the apartment was great, really allowed us to enjoy our trip and have our own space when needed. All the furniture was very comfortable, the lighting was great, the ease of use for the aircon was great and the balcony and location we also enjoyed a lot

There was a lack of overall utensils in the kitchen - an additional wooden spoon or spatula would have been helpful. The shower in the larger of the two bedrooms needs some attention, the door seal was hanging off and the flooring was coming up as well as the power from the shower lacking in force. We also would have liked some more check-out information earlier than we got it. There was no info included in what to do with rubbish or towels and we had to ask for this info.

Location was convenient. Liked the apartment - it was nice and nice to have lots of room. I had actually booked the place for the wrong night by a day. The individual at the desk was able to move the reservation and find a room for us which was great. She was very nice and helpful.

Instructions for using the garage were not very clear. The apartment was street side which was noisy (had an ambulance flashing lights at us at 3:00 am). Curtains were light weight so did not block out light from street or ambulance. Door to soar bath would not close. Lastly, when reservation was changed the original reservation was not cancelled so ended up paying for two nights when we only stayed one night.

The apartment was modern and generally very clean, the facilities were great and it was in a quirky part of town about 15-20 minute walk to downtown

The carpet in the bedroom was quite marked and the bed for us was to soft as we prefer firmer but that is our personal preference. The only other issue is there was a bar below with an outside seating area with a pop up eating van and on a number of occasions through the week had music blasting until 2am which we had no previous notice about, otherwise we would have rated it excellent.

Perfect location and wonderful layout. Pool, paid parking, food/drinks/shops in the area and the trail was superb for us.

While there is “parking” it is extra $. Convenient underground parking but additional cost. Rug had a lot of dog hair in it - dog friendly rental. Not a huge deal but pool area was very popular and got crowded on weekends. Lastly many office & lounge areas and I personally would have liked a fitness gym there.

Place was very clean and spacious overall. Great location. Easy access to other places. Mattress was very comfortable. Kitchen/ living area and balcony very nice.

I received multiple emails, app alerts and wasn't clear that room code and outdoor code were the same (I thought PIN was for the room entry) Eventually we got it figured out but since we were in a rush to get to an event, it was a little frustrating at first. Key fob for garage gave us hard time! (didn't work at first, then completely slid in front of dashboard/ windshield and we couldn't get it out) Once we were able to park in garage, couldn't use elevator nor stairs since no fob. Perhaps a larger key ring for the fob, or maybe just us? :( Overall though very nice place

We loved this place. It's on East Sixth, a few minute's walk from A LOT of bars with live music, dancing, a comedy venue (on a Thursday night we went to the East Austin comedy club and it was a riot), good enough restaurants, and a fancy grocery that did excellent coffee. Inside the place was bigger andmore luxurious than expected, with lots of living space and really comfy beds. Had a great time.

Fridge was a bit noisy, but not so as to disturb sleep in the bedrooms. Anyway I'm really only saying that to say something - this was a great place.

It was a amazing pick I found from booking.com close to downtown and on the same road of 6th Street, I was wowed when I walked in the room . I for sure didn’t want to leave but for sure booking here again next time in few weeks!

The party goers that walked the street screaming at night on a Saturday night but that’s if your staying in the hotel on a weekend night haha

I really like the neighborhood, there was a lot of options to eat, or go out. The apartment itself was also really nice, pretty god size and had a little deck that I was not expecting

Although the neighborhood was good, it was really noisy. My apartment was on the street side and between music and cars driving by it was hard to sleep. There was also a lot of noise from other apartments above mine on Thursday night.

Love this place! I've stayed at some apartment rentals in Austin that feature self-check in and make you go through all sorts of trials and tribulations just to get into your room... following maps, finding various keys, talking to apartment management... by the end of it you feel like you just got done playing 'The Legend of Zelda' or some other puzzle/strategy game... Not Sentral East Austin! You just walk up to the front door, type in the code they e-mail/text you on the day you arrive, and that's it. Super straight forward. Very clean room and the perfect size. Complimentary canned water was a nice touch. The airline altered my flight last minute and I ended up landing in Austin earlier than expected by several hours and I wasn't sure I would even be able to check in, but I sent a quick e-mail to Sentral and they accommodated me quickly. Will definitely stay here again.

The washer/drier was great but there was only 1 laundry pod provided. Not a big deal as I only had one load of laundry to do anyway, but having a few extra would have been nice just in case I messed up the laundry run somehow. There were quite a few birds hanging out in the pool area but I don't expect the management to be able to do much about that since it is open to the outdoors. Just watch your step!
