I really enjoyed my stay at this location. Staff was friendly and very helpful. What I liked most is that the rooms were very quiet and they were quite spacious. I did not have to worry about hearing the staff clean the surrounding rooms in the morning because the walls were not thin like other locations I have stayed at in the past. Breakfast was convenient and they had a great selection.

The only negative think I can say about my stay is that the water took a long time to get hot in the shower. Other than that, everything was great.

Brand new, beautiful La Quinta. Off season, 1-night, passing thru. Traveling with 2 small dogs. Aunties told me this is in a "safer" area. No one wants to stay near the motel where Selena was murdered! Only gripe is an overall La Quinta annoyance. I wish there was a built-in national budget for pet fees. Like $20 + $10 each additional pet. Or you can buy into a ~$75 annual pet fee that makes to exempt to local fees. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm tired of paying up to plus $40 / night for 2 pugs that's biggest sins are shedding. AND I pick up my pug poo! I cant say that for most guests. I get it. That's what keeps me using Booking.com. My genius level offsets the pet fees. Anyway, thanks, Corpus La Quinta. You're beds are the bomb!

Our room, the entire facility was so nice and clean. Breakfast left a lot to be desired! It needed Fresh-made eggs, biscuits & gravy, grits maybe but at least potatoes . We’ve had better At less than $100 a night, but it no way was worth $163

Young man at registration was mute! Never Welcomed us or even said “hello”. He’s definitely NOT a people person and probably could be better used in a different capacity! Sorry, but we’d read a previous response About him and it really said it all!

The location was perfect. Being right across from the mall and down the street from shopping centers and restaurants was excellent. And considering that the hotel was newly refurbished, we had a great room and everything was very neat.

The grab-n-go breakfast choice was terrible. It was just a bag of donuts, applesauce, a very small bottle of water and Capri Sun. It wasn't breakfast; it was a kid's candy bag. There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom too. It wasn't overbearing, but it was there. The shower floor was stained and scuffed up too. Not badly, but it was obvious. And it took a while for the shower water to heat up.

the directions from the address was incorrect from Booking.com. the directions were to an old La Quinta that was now under a new owner. it took quite a while to get to the correct building on a rush hour Friday afternoon. this needs to be corrected. The clerk and I talked about it and one customer came to him in tears recently over the same issue she was so distraught

The mattress is very comfortable, maybe better than my bed at home!

My room smelled like strong powder. Not sure if it was an air filter or if it had been a spray...but even after a few hours, it was still strong. Also I wish the coffee bar was available anytime. I would have LOVED a fresh cup to take up to my room at check-in!

Nice property, very clean. The room was quiet, we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. Comfy beds. The water pressure could be better. Breakfast was lackluster. The location was perfect for us. We went to visit Padre Island National Seashore. It was a 24 minute drive. Several restaurants within walking distance from the property.

The room had a bit of a smell when you first walked in but once you were in the room for a couple minutes you kinda got used to the smell. It wasn’t necessarily a bad smell, but it smelled a bit weird

The hotel was new and only two months old according to the clerk. The room was spacious and clean, The counter clerk and manager were very nice and helpful in helping me understand how booking.com inappropriately handles registrations and treats the hotels and customers poorly.

Booking.com's rates aren't that cheap. The check-in clerk and manager couldn't believe that I was paying $289 for the room. Their charge would have been $199 if I had made the reservation on their website or called the hotel. They said that they could not cancel my reservation because it was locked in by booking.com. I called the booking.com # and wait time was to be at least 20 minutes and we had to get to a funeral service. DO NOT use booking.com. Go on the hotel company's website or call the hotel to get the best rate.

The property was very clean, quiet & easy to access from the highway. It was located near a gas station, & 3 great restaurants.

The room didn’t have enough towels & shampoo for 3 people so we had to go down to the lobby to get some. The bedding wasn’t the same on the two beds.
