Edinburg Executive Inn

I loved the simplicity of the room. There is no "art" on the walls but large mirrors instead. The TV is huge and provides loads of local stations, streaming stations, and premium TV. Wi-Fi is free. All the lights work. Parking space in front of each motel door is wide, perfect for loading and unloading. This is an older motel building with limited superficial "updating"; however, the toilet is eco-friendly, the faucets work, there is a plug for the bathtub, the shower curtain keeps the water inside the tub, the linens are fresh and very white, the bed is comfortable, the temperature of the shower water is perfect, the coffee acceptable, the microwave and fridge in working order and clean condition. The continental breakfast is provided in the office area which is kept exceptionally neat, clean and tidy. The proprietors of the motel are welcoming and helpful. Their philosophy is represented in a quotation in the breakfast area: The Way To Happiness. AND they have 2 gorgeous, well-behaved Labradoodles.

The ONLY improvement I would make, which I communicated to the charming proprietor, is for housekeeping to wipe dry the chrome fixtures after cleaning so they sparkle.

Did not ear breakfast either morning.

Only problem was the hot water control on the tub. Went to take a shower Tuesday morning and water would not get warm. Got out and started filling up the sink to take a sponge bath and thought maybe I need to turn tub control to the right to get hot. Bingo! Problem solved. Tub in room 137 is plumbed wrong.

I don't eat breakfast,so I can't tell you about the breakfast,but the area was clean,and had fresh fruit which I loved.My room was very clean,and my a/c was very cold,as I have menopause Everything was great about my stay .I will stay there again tomorrow f I need to.thanks,and staff was very friendly

Everything was great

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very courteous and professional. Nights were quiet and we were able to sleep without interruptions. Price was very affordable.

Though it would have been nice to have a continental breakfast, I understand that not having a breakfast helps cut cost and the hotel is really not obligated to offer breakfast.

The room was excellent—no nasty carpet. We had a refrigerator and microwave. The restroom was spotless. The bed was comfortable

The A/C unit was not consistent with the temperature. It was cool and ok temperature in an alternating mode.

Room was clean, beds comfortable.

The trash cans didn't have bags and when I asked, I was told they didn't use bags. Then in the morning, I discovered we had no coffee pot. The cups and other things were there, but coffee or coffee pot. Had to go buy elsewhere.

Room was nice and clean, but we needed more towels. There was a dirty towel rag when we opened the room, it was already there .

a bigger pool would be better and seperate rooms to have more privacy.

The price was exceptional and the location was great. The Barrel House across the street was a nice treat.

The office was closed in the morning as I at least wanted some coffee other than in the room.

the staff was friendly, the room was spacious, the king bed was very comfortable and it was located among many quality restaurants.

the water pressure in the shower was weak.

The property is a great value for my needs and the staff is always very nice. I believe I've worked with the owner himself and he was very helpful. This is my "go to" spot for Edinburg stays.
