Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fredericksburg

The staff was helpful and nice and the room was great! The room where we ate breakfast was nice and quiet after breakfast and we could meet people comfortably without distractions. It was nice to have access to laundry facilities.

I wish the breakfast had more variety. We stayed for almost a week and the breakfast was the same every day (and my go to, the oatmeal, was awful) The clothes washer was finicky and I was never sure if it was going to run. I felt like I had to put my credit card in at least twice to get it to run.

The room was lovely, very comfortable, the bathroom exceptionally clean and well-appointed. Loved the shower. I liked the breakfast (pre-made and wrapped mini-quiche (I had that and it was very good for pre-made) my partner, who prefers a hearty, freshly made breakfast did not; he had both the bagel sandwich and the English muffin sandwich, both with egg, cheese and a meat but found both lacking. I thought, given the ongoing COVID concerns, the breakfast was pretty well done. There was also the usual selections of making your own waffle, yogurt, etc. Additionally, I had requested a room above the first floor and the desk clerk graciously put us in a lovely room on the 3rd floor well away from the elevator and the ice machine.

I guess I will speak for my partner in that he would have preferred a better breakfast. The second morning we went to a nearby cafe' where we had eaten on previous trips to Fredericksburg and had breakfast there. Everything else was fine other than the elevator had an amazingly loud bell for each floor and when the doors opened. We were VERY happy our room was well away from that!

Where do I start?! The front desk associate, Devon was great! He had a welcoming presence when we first came in to check in. Upon entering our room, we noticed the cleanliness of the room and the restroom. The remote was clean and was wrapped to ensure cleanliness. The room was beautiful, bed was amazing soft and pillows were like laying on a cloud. The bathroom was beautiful, and we were even able to request a late checkout. Devon was honestly the best front desk associate we had ever encountered ! Definitely going to be visiting this hotel back and this city! Everyone was great, breakfast was delicious and they had a nice variety ranging from waffles to cereal and to scrambled eggs and sausage patties. They also had a variety of drinks from milks to your fruit juices (orange and apple) to coffee and even refreshing water with lime slices. Overall great hotel, great staff, and great city. If I could give more stars I would, my love and I agreed this was the best location out of our entire trip. 👌

The staff was very nice. The property was clean and well taken care of

The pillows were awful. We normally take our own but forgot and we paid the price. They need to upgrade the pillows. Also they could t keep up with the breakfast crowd. Multiple times there were 4-6 people standing waiting on coffee and food.

The location was easy to find but you couldn't walk safely to town (no sidewalks)/ The breakfast was good with lots of options. There was coffee and tea in the room. Bed was comfortable. Easy access by care to local venues. Modern facility. Fitness center was sufficient.

Ventilation was inconsistent. Pool was not heated enough that it was comfortable to swim in. Very overpriced for level of accommodation.

Location was close driving distance to Main Street. Overall the facilities looked pretty clean. Friendly person at check-in desk.

The couch in our room just looked slightly dirty (particularly the part where your legs would touch). The rest of the room seemed totally fine.

Breakfast was okay but disappointed fewer choices then expected. It ran out of food early.

More food for Breakfast. More choices (like bacon, donuts, waffle) Also little green light on smoke alarm flash repeatedly all night. Room showed a lot of light around the door. Hard to sleep in a light room with flashing light.

The room location was at the end of the hall, which was quiet.

The room description included a sofa in the room, but the room we were assigned didn't have a sofa. The only other place to sit other than the bed was the desk chair.

The pool needs to be taken care of a little bit. Also the website says you have a pool and a spa. We were looking forward to some relaxing time at the spa, but there was no spa
