Windcrest Inn and Suites

This visit was a last min decision so I arrived after business hours. Keys were left with my name on them in an envelope in a box by the business center. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. When I called, the staff was very kind and helpful.

The location of the TV made no sense. It was not in the living room area and was not in the bedroom area but right in the middle. It lined up directly with the divider wall. I arrived very late so I was hoping for a later check in/out schedule but the times were normal check in by 3pm out by 11am

Very close to Main and the 290. Loved the manager who explained ahead that they were in transition. The initial room had some cosmetic issues like stained carpet. We asked to change rooms and she obliged quickly. Housekeeping did a great job when we asked for extra coffee and towels. This is not fancy but did the trick for a super low rate. Super friendly managers were so helpful in telling us things to do and places to go!

For this great price I was not expecting fancy but we ended up in a clean room closer to office after looking at another in the back that was not great. Pool was closed and no breakfast Monday through Friday. We chose this because of breakfast.

Breakfast was good. Pool was nice with lounge chairs, surrounded by small garden. Parking was convenient right in front of the room. Room was clean, had table, chairs and refrigerator, microwave.

Bathroom was very small and needed a revamping. Not enough towel racks for a 3-person room. Housekeeping cleaned, changed towels and soap but didn't make beds (odd). One day breakfast was not included (odd).

This place is so close to Main Street it's very convenient.... The people who run this place are very nice including the maintenance man who we just had a great conversation with ...these are the kind of people you would invite over to your house for dinner.... My wife is deaf and we showed them a couple of signs in sign language and we just had a great conversation... They made us feel welcome welcome just like family... Laura who works at the front desk is just about as friendly as your favorite aunt..... The beds were soft the place was clean... Anytime we needed anything they were right there for us..

There's really nothing I did not like about this place.... Best value for your buck...

the location was convenient to down town. the staff was super friendly. they are pet friendly. the room was a little dated but it was clean and comfortable.

The price was high for what it was but it was a 3 day weekend so prices are always higher. I would definitely stay there again as it was clean and staff so friendly. but I think next time I will wait for week day prices.

Located close to downtown so it was easy driving back and forth from the main area with shops and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was available in the morning. Rooms were large and perfect for an overnight stay.

Check in is at 4 and there is no wiggle room. It was not a big deal, we just went downtown and did some things until then but we expected we could try to check in earlier. Plan accordingly when planning your time.

Off the main street but still close enough to do shopping, HEB store right across street for any shopping needs.

It's def an older hotel that they have kept up. Bathroom is literally a small closet with bathtub right against the toilet which is only about an inch from the wall. Bed was def hard. When checking in front desk lady seemed annoyed and a little cranky. Only other small issue is you have a hotel with no one staying there and you have to put someone right next too you who is loud, didn't make much since, next time every other room would be better for placing guests.

Clean room with 2 beds affordable and allows pets. Close to Windcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation .

No continental breakfast on weekdays but that wasn't so bad. This was our 2nd stay. The 1st time was a few months ago and to be honest that room was a little icky, but this time it was much better and very clean. I'm glad we gave them another shot. Will probably stay again when I bring my dad's cat to visit him in the nursing home down the street.

Its the 4 th hotel that we've stayed at that's clean, affordable and accessible to downtown, restaurants and groceries. The staff is amazing

We have no complaints, I can say that after bathing you can Actually walk around barefoot and your feet stay clean. I can't say that for the prior three hotels in Fredericksburg that we've been

Arrived and office was locked up. Staff were gone. Would not answer cell phone. Waited 2 hours for next shift person to arrive. Housekeeping person stayed nearby and helped us. Finally got into room at 10:15 after arriving before 8 PM.
