Motel 6-Kerrville, TX

Third time here. Excellent overall. This last time our AC went out in the night for several hours, then came back on. It's been very hot, so this was a bit of a problem. But in general this is a great property, everything else maintained well, good grass for the dogs and no extra charge for them! Good parking, protected from the street - couldn't ask for more. Except maybe better coffee, but for that there's Starbucks. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

As mentioned above, room's AC unit went out mysteriously for several hours, then was working again. Aside from that, no complaints at all. It's a great place.

The location is great for easy access to town or highway. We travel for business in the Hill Country & actually don't get to spend too much time I'm town. Close proximity to restaurants & gas stations. Safe & well lit.

1. We've stayed here several times, never a complaint but this time definitely could tell that the mattress was in need of replacement. 2. It's not really something the property could control but this visit there was baseball team (girls) staying there and the parents loaded up huge Yeti coolers from the ice machine and left no ice for the regular customers.

I accidentally picked a smoking room from the dark web and when I arrived. the owner wasn’t able to put me in a nonsmoking room the first night but the next day he was able to get me in a nonsmoking room for the rest of the week!

The rooms are inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. The bed is comfy, and everything was clean. The staff were also very friendly, the rooms are a bit bare bones and i heard more of my neighbors than I wanted to, but for the price it was great. They also have a small dog park near by, which is nice.

I always stay at this motel when I am driving home to NM. I am not interested in frills: I want a nice, clean room to get a good night's rest in for a reasonable price, and this particular facility delivers every time. It's conveniently located for a number of places to eat, and it's very close to the interstate for a quick escape when you need to get back on the road.

Everything was fine, but I had an end room this time, and the space in the shower was a little tight for using the toilet. It was a little cramped, but, otherwise, it was fantastic as usual.

There was no breakfast at this hotel. We really wanted queen size beds but none were available.

The bathroom design was not that functional. To turn the light on in the toilet/bathtub area the exhaust fan also turned one. Would liked to be able to just turn on the light and the exhaust fan only if needed.

I loved how convenient and unsurprisingly cheap! I booked a room (king bed)stayed at the hotel for 8 days & only paid $500. I then ended up getting 3 more nights after my initial booking and paid almost nothing again. They were very nice and the housekeepers were amazing.

The only things I didn't like, which weren't that big a deal... 1)I love extremely hot showers and the hotel's shower didn't get that hot. 2)The parking lot was a little small and not much parking space but it wasn't that big a deal. 3)I didn't like that our room was only a bed and small "office chair", the room was huge for only a bed so I think they need to put recliners or something small yet comfy.

There was plenty of lighting so you feel secure. The staff, especially front desk, were very helpful and friendly. The hotel facilities and the grounds were all very clean!

The bed wasn't as comfortable, but it still wasn't the worst. It's not firm, but not soft.

Price, clean, and staff was friendly. Great location for traveling through and close to most tourist locations in the area. Solid value for the price, just a couple little maintenance things & it would get a higher rating.

Mattresses were outdated & springs could be counted on your body. Shower water pressure was very low, from personal experience the heads need to be cleaned out.

There was a guy whom sat out on the stair case quite often chain smoking cigs that we would have to pass or go around each time we were going up or coming down stairs . The chemicals from tobacco smoke reek but he was probably a poor fellow alone and maybe that’s what pacified him.
