La Quinta by Wyndham Houston East at Normandy

Room was large and comfortable. Staff was really nice. Breakfast was fresh.

Breakfast was okay, but they were always out of multiple things like orange juice. The location is awful. They have 2 gates; one is the entrance, and one is the exit. The entrance is on a main road. It's easy to miss, so most drivers will. The exit requires a code. If you forget it, you can't get out unless you go back in and ask.

I like the location, next to everything I needed. Breakfast was so great! Great staff (need to thank the cool guy that was on frontdesk when I arrived on 22th Dec and Nora was very kind), liked the housekeeping (was the best clean that I ever had on every day that I stayed). The room was good but not as big as I thought! Liked the security on the Hotel Parking. I would totally comeback to this hotel specially for the food and the great clean!

The room is great. They still serve a good bkfst unlike other hotels who hide behind the pandemic a while yr later. They have cereal, waffles, eggs , bacon, potatoes, Pastries, coffee, apple juice, oj, & milk.

The staff is never very helpful & seems like they always have the " your bothering me", attitude.

The room. The living room was separate from the bed room. The extra space made staying there more pleasurable. I'd happily come back if I can be guaranteed the same room

Not enough quarters available from host to do laundry. Dryer did not dry clothes properly. Had to spread damp clothes over furniture in room overnight to finish dry them. Wet moldy smell in hallway.

Staff was extremely friendly and down to earth as well as professional and polite. Our rooms were clean and everyone apart of the crew played a cohesive part very well. I have a new born baby and we have been accommodated for what we needed

There wasn't anything that I didn't like or had a problem with actually.

It was very quiet, relaxing, and they had a great breakfast in the morning. The way they had there breakfast setup was that you had to tell the lady what you wanted and she would make it, (whether you wanted a waffle, bagel , or eggs and bacon 🥓) and you had to wait and stand behind a row of tables to get your breakfast from her. The guy at the front desk named Jacob, was the BEST!!! He always made sure that we had everything and he also got us muffins in the morning at checkout, since we weren't going to be there for breakfast that morning. He is AWESOME!!!

There was a moldy smell in the hall ways as you are walking to your room

i loved everything about it I had no complaints about the stay.

i didn’t like the fact it wasn’t disclosed about the 150$ deposit fee and because we booked in a rush and we had no other place to go. if anyone sees this make sure you have your 150 ready, it was a huge inconvenience for us because we was going on a budget.

The room was fantastic. The staff was amazing and the location was conveniently near the freeway.

The area was not what or where I expected being new to the area and was a bit concerning however having the area gated was a great accommodation and made me feel much safer and the only other issue was the fridge being so loud in the room

Staff were friendly. Room was perfect and fit all our needs. Breakfast was great. Property was safe and fully gated in had to have a code to even get out.

Walls are really thin, we heard everything going on in the room next to us. And people coming and going in the halls all night long.

Staff was exceptional!! The gentleman who checked us in had exceptional people skills.. Moved me from a 2 double room to a king...after asking who I was with.. Saying that it would be a nicer stay if we had a room with one bed.. Cleaning staff was very nice and accommodating as we overslept and was a Little late on checkout... Room was very clean.. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

Little confused on the entrance and exit with the gate code.. But I'm nit picking
