Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Hurst

The breakfast was amazing! It was the best hotel breakfast I've had since I got to have breakfast at the Renaissance Hotel in Dallas 20 years ago. The eggs were flavorful and I loved the multicolor potatoes. There was fresh fruit also. In addition to the typical apples or bananas, there was also strawberries and blueberries one morning and honeydew melon the 2nd morning. The room was perfect. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable. The room was equal distance from the exit for the pool and the lobby and I enjoyed getting a 1st floor room.

More bath size towels in the room would be great. I don't have anything else. Otherwise it was a perfect stay. There's really nothing to complain about. I guess getting the bar open would be cool for my next visit.

Everything was great. Room was clean. Nice and cold at night. We had a King suite with pull out sofa bed. I had booked a room with 2 full beds through Booking.com, but when we got there, none of those rooms were available. They were able to accommodate with a king suite. When we got to the room, there were already sheets and blankets for the pull out sofa. The room had plenty of space.

Breakfast should definitely be relocated to out of the lobby. Its too small of an area. Trying to find seating for 5 was difficult. It's just not a big enough area and everyone is spread out eating on couches and using coffee tables for eating. The elevators need maintenance. The one on the left (when facing elevators) was really jerky when going up. The one on the right rocked up and down for what seemed like forever as it would come to a stop. Had we not been on the 6th floor with a toddler, stairs would've been used instead.

Everything except the guy at the desk I dont think he is to Fond of black people....the one who worked on 12/14/2022 in the morning...

The only thing I didn't like ,When I ask if the bottle of waters was free the white guy working at the desk said no it's not free , I said okay then as I was walking away I heard him say to a white lady how was your stay .she responded very nice , then she asked was the water and gateaid was free ...HE SAID YOUR WELCOME TO HAVE A BOTTLE OF WATER IF U WANT , I DIDNT LIKE THAT AT ALL THAT REALLY HURT MY FEELINGS IT WAS THE MORNING OF 12/14/2022 ....OTHER THEN THAT THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY....

The property is “tucked” back from the road so even though the in a busy location, you don’t hear the street noise. The lobby is large with lots of seating options snd complimentary breakfast is good with many options.

Since this is an older property, be prepared to bring USB and USC cables and convertors. Room phone did not work so had a tell staff about “minor” issues. Staff is very accommodating.

Breakfast had bacon the first morning but sausage links the next day. Potato chunks and mixed vegetables were cold. Pancakes were not fresh. But all in all breakfast was 7 out of 10.

The back door from the parking lot was unlocked. Bad for security. Manager said they were working on it. Anyone could have just walked in and a there was a girl working the lobby late that night. Elevators are a little wobbly and jerky.

I loved that we were able to be comfortable yet not break the bank! We were comfortable the whole weekend! Maybe not a luxury hotel but it gives you some luxury on a budget.

The beds were alright but not good. There was no microwave and our TV didn't work but we were prepared. 😅 The breakfast needs a little more to it too. Had to buy cold water. But that was pretty much it. Nothing really awful

The staff was amazing, our room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious and I can’t say enough how awesome the staff was to our 5 children. I highly recommend this Hyatt!

The only downfall, was that the website read, “Heated outdoor pool.” We stayed during Spring Break (Mid-March) and the pool was freezing. It was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, so that our kids could swim during their vacation. The front desk attendant apologized and said they hadn’t turned the heating on.

It was nice and clean plus the lady at the front was very helpful and understanding. Also beautiful at that.

The fact that there weren't any microwaves, the pillows were very few. That's an issue with all hotels though.

The entire staff was exceptional. They have Starbucks on site. The breakfast had many offerings including hot items. They are across the street from the police station .

The elevators were in need of repair but they are working on them so that should be rectified. I have a fragrance allergy and the room was a bit fragant. The beds were firm and I prefer a soft bed.

Great rate for the type hotel. Awesome breakfast. Great location close to very good restaurants, fast food, gas, and about anything else needed. Very safe located across the street from local police department.

The room TV wasn't working well. Beds were OK.
