Ordered a king room, got a "double double." (Two double beds) That's ok, cuz I was ground floor and was able to park right outside my door. So it worked out. Staff is good. One housekeeper saw me take a drink of Arizona tea in a bottle, said "You're drinking, huh?" I replied, "Yes, I'm drinking tea." She was probably just joking. The owner has become my best friend in the entire state of Texas, and I have Booking.com to thank for meeting him. He and his wife run probably the best, most secure hotel in Laredo Texas. They have cameras everywhere, my vehicle is always safe and secure, I feel safe when I stay there. A little more attention might be paid to cleaning the floors. Otherwise EVERYTHING IS GREAT The towels are very clean. Normally there are ironing boards and irons in each room. But there was no iron in my room. I suppose if I needed one I could have asked for one. It was a "working trip" to Laredo so no iron was necessary. TV worked well. Lots of storage space for clothes in dresser. Table and chair for doing desk work. Bed was not 100% comfortable (90%, which is good) but I did get very good rest. I was tired from my previous days driving. No fridge or microwave in this room but like I said, it was a working trip and I had little time Laredo is HOT. So I am very glad that he has little bottles water and coke and soft drinks available in the office and in machine by rooms, too. In Laredo, ever since staying here at Motel 59, I have not stayed at another hotel since. It is my "Home away from home."

Amazing staff, comfortable beds, and perfect location. Property manager always made sure I was comfortable. Joey in housekeeping helped me during a small medical crisis, really appreciated his assistance. Applaud entire housekeeping staff, working in the heat, but room was always fresh. Grocery store across the street, Mexican restaurant literally connected to property, Walgreens maybe two blocks, public transit across the street, and not far from Laredo Medical Center.

Ice machine never worked, but didn’t change my mind about this great property.

Definitely very gracious toward guests. Tobias the manager actually went to my room, turned on the TV and heat, and did final "touch ups" just prior to my arrival. Very comfortable bed. Refrigerator with fully functional enclosed freezer.

Pest control needs to be more aggressive.

The bed was very comfortable, as well as pillows. Staff always greets with a smile. One doesn't have to go far to pick up a bite to eat, everything is within a few blocks or less than one block. Property is old, but maintained wonderfully.

I honestly can't think of anything that needs improving, considering the age of the property, think they're doing a good job keeping it up. Wish the ice machine worked, but that is a minor issue.

What I really like was that it had a microwave and a mini fridge cus ive been to other motels and they dont have anything plus I like how the stores to buy food are so close by every store or fast food restaurants are walking distance and I love that the rooms arw very clean and rooms service are very reapectfu front office to good people I give this motel a 5 start for how clean they are and for how respectful they are and thats the most important thing

King bed very comfortable. Well lit parking lot. My room had fridge and microwave. Tile floors, so easier to clean. New state of the art toilets if anyone gives a kwap about it... Just thought you'd like to know. Exceptionally sharp picture on TV. Relatively quiet at night time. Tobias is extremely accommodating and I opted for staying a second night though I paid a little extra because I just paid at the front desk. Cleaning staff takes their jobs seriously do PLEASE tip them.

Cleanliness needs a little attention.

Needs a little bit more effort on the cleaning part

Tobias, in a week of staying here, has become my personal friend. He is wonderful, the cleaning staff wonderful as well. Good security, lots of cameras.

I am dealing with the office about the one thing that needs attention. As they deal with it directly, there is no need to broadcast it publicly.

The bed was comfortable but the room was a little outdated. Received knock on door at 10:40 AM when trying to get dressed to leave to remind us that check-out was at 11:00 AM
